The National Logistic Ecosystem (NLE)

The National Logistic Ecosystem (NLE) is a logistics ecosystem that harmonizes

the flow of international goods and documents traffic from the arrival of the means of
transport until the goods arrive at the warehouse using an information technology
system that covers all related logistics processes and connects existing logistics systems.

The NLE program is oriented towards collaboration between government and

private agencies through 3 main strategies. First , creating efficient regulations and
excellent service standards by implementing simplification and eliminating repetition
and duplication of business processes. Second , collaboration of government services
with business platforms in the logistics sector . Third , creating the right logistics spatial
planning strategy supported by an information technology system that is able to create
digital collaboration over the entire logistics process in one platform.

The logistics process that is collaborated on one platform starts from the process
of completing sea or air transportation documents,  custom clearance, licensing,
completion of export documents from the port (SP2), searching for transportation
equipment and warehouse availability. The performance of all the above processes can
be monitored and measured because all parties involved are connected to the logistics
chain. The existence of NLE also makes it easier for each related party to be able to see
the logistics process in accordance with their authority.

NLE can not only accommodate government-to-government (G2G) needs, but

also facilitate business-to-business (B2B) collaboration with various logistics entities
that have been or are growing in the country. NLE can provide logistics services from
upstream to downstream, to facilitate the logistics flow process for export and import
goods.

Thus, it can be concluded that NLE essentially uses a digital collaboration

concept that allows logistics parties to connect with other logistics platforms as well as
ministries or government agencies.
