Live birth amount in 2019 is almost 1,2 millions, according to Turkstat data.

There’s no import duty applied for baby diaper imports for any kind of source. (HS Code 96.19.00.81,
according to ticaret.gov.tr)

Government incentives for the new babies are listed below (Direct payments only. Working
conditions and vacations are excluded. Sources: Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Services, Social
Security Institution);

 Baby food and diaper aid gave by goverment, and the scope is low-income families. Eligible
families receive 239 TRL for 24 months. General conditions of that aid is listed below.
o Total income per capita should be less than 701 TRL for each parent,
o Baby’s birth year should be 2015 or later,
o At least one of the parents should be Turkish citizen,
o None of the parents should have movable or landed property on their own.
 Birth supports are paid once for each baby;
o 300 TRL for the first,
o 400 TRL for the second,
o 600 TRL for the third baby.
 Nursing aid supports are paid once for each baby. 2020 nursing aid for each baby is 202 TRL.

Additional benefits for the working mothers;

 Incapacity benefit for the working mothers two-third of the gross salary for 18 weeks.
 Babysitting aid paid 1.200 TRL – 1.500 TRL for 24 months per baby. If the babysitter is certified
Professional, additional 100 EUR is paid to the mother.
