On February 11, 2022, the faculty of the Humanities and Social Sciences and
General Academics conducted their LAC session on the Integration of ICT in Classroom
Instruction. The facilitator discussed the different ICT Tools and how we can combine
these in our teaching strategies and in making teaching materials. During the LAC
session, it was emphasized that integrating ICT in education is an instructional choice
by the teachers and it should serve as their assistant in the learning and teaching
process. It involves collaboration among teacher and students.
Ma’am Shelanijean Lim discussed about Digital Techniques, PowerPoint
Presentation Enhancement, Video Conferencing, Conducting Online Class through
Zoom and other applications, Computer Assisted Tutorials, Video Mediated Instruction,
and Slide Deck Making.
Video Mediated Instruction and Video Lesson Viewing were conducted after the talk of
Ma’am Lim. The VMI and Video Lessons were presented by Sir Theodore Dan Rivero,
Ms. Querobin Gampayon, and Ms. Dhonna Alibin. Ma’am Cherelyn Moreta presented
her Slide Deck Output after the Video Lesson Viewing.
Critiquing and open forum were conducted after all the presentations. The
schedule of passing our enhanced VMI and Slide Deck Outputs were also reminded.
The LAC session ended by a closing statement given by Ma’am Maggie Aytona.
