I think girls are: into girly stuffs like when it comes to make-ups, clothes or things and of course girls are
humble, soft and most noisy than boys.

I think boys are: into boy stuffs like playing online games, prefer dark colors, car shows, sports and most
of boys are serious, strong, and lazy than girls.

I think girls should: be who they are, they are firm with their final decision and despite being soft they
have strength to be brave in their own ways. They can also do hard stuffs like boys and girls should be
protective, still humble, and hardworking.

I think boys should: learn to be humble, considerate and learn to help what a girl does in their house like
doing household chores, it should not the girls only. If girls can do some hard stuffs like boys then boys
should learn some of it. There should be a balance for the both.

Society thinks that girls should: be soft and do only what they should be told to be like for example a
household works and be beautiful to satisfy others, what a girls should wear.

Society thinks that boys should: be doing all hardworks relating to a strength, provide for the family and
protective of girls because they know some of the nature of a boy.
How does your society or culture teach you to think, feel, and act based on your gender? How is it
limiting? How is it liberating?

I think our society think that girls should be beautiful and neat, be humble and considerate to
any circumstances and a role to take care of our family. As a woman, you should be kind and be who you
are, but when everyone does it, they think you should also do it. Society think that girls are sensitive
which is it is true or factual, and easily to convince but when deciding to a choices, we are firm and act
with it. Our culture teach us to be humble and follow those principles a girls should do, they are many
precautions and your role as a girl. When you’re in a legal age, or before turning 28 above you should
marry a man because your family have a expectations with you and to bear a child. Thus, not all men
should provide for the women, we women can also provide for ourselves and fight for any obstacles we
can faces without help. There are always limits and sometimes no freedom because they expect you to
do this or that.
Discuss among yourselves what is expected of girls and boys in the following institutions:

1. Your school (high school or college);

 Girls: Neat and decent clothes, wearing make ups like some girly stuffs, different style of bags,
accessories, they have many things in their bag.
 Boys: Baggy or loose clothes, dark colors things, prefer small things to bring compare to girls.
2. Your household; and
 Girls: doing all household chores like washing dishes, cleaning room, cooking and etc.
 Boys: doing all hard stuffs because they have strong physical features, like bringing or holding
boxes, sack of rice, chairs etc.
3. Your church
 Girls: following the lead of the prayer & prayer clothes that cover all the body except the face.
 Boys: leading the prayer and wearing kemon (prayer clothe).
