CONFERENCE’S SCHEDULE

DAY 1: Complimentary Tours


 Morning: Da Nang’s History & Culture
o 08:00: Pick up at the hotel.
o 08:15: Visit Marble Mountains, climb up the most beautiful peak
to discover beautiful caves and visit old national pagodas.

o 08:45: Drop in the very famous traditional carving village to see


skillful marble products by talented artists.
o
o 09:15: Transfer to visit Museum of Cham Sculpture, the most
special collection of Champa sculptures in central Vietnam. Photo
stop at Dragon Bridge.

 10:00: Visit APEC Park

 10:30: Drive up the mountain to Ban Co Peak to enjoy panoramic sea city of Da
Nang at an altitude of 250m. Then drive through to the giant banyan tree, explore
natural mountain forests carpet, continue along the mountainous southeast fare
to admire the great beauty of the sea, beauty of Da Nang.
 11:00: Drop off at the hotel. Tour ends.

 Afternoon:  Nature & Leisure


o 13:00: Pick up guests at hotel.
o 13:30: Arrive at the cable car station. Sitting in the cabin, in mid air, looking upon
the endless tree lone of the forest, bring you with spectacular views of the lush
jungle. Experiencing the pristine ecological system of the Ba Na mountain will
leave you a sense of unforeseeable discovery.

 14:30: Visit the Le Jardin - old wineries remain of French Villas, Golden Bridge
and Linh Ung Pagoda with 27m high Buddha statue. Leave Le Jardin for the
second cable car station to visit the top of mountain.
 15:30-16:30: Visit and play game at the Fantasy Park and French village.

 17:00: Return to cable car station at the foot of Ba Na mountain. Back to Da


Nang.

 17:45: Drop off at the hotel. Tour ends


DAY 2:
- Morning:
o 7:00: Guest Welcoming & Registration.
o 8.00 - 8:20: Opening speech by Mr Steven Small.
+ He is Branch Director of Informa Routes.
+ He joins Routes from Marketing Liverpool where he is
currently head of tourism, leading a team responsible for
driving Liverpool’s leisure and business tourism through
the Visit Liverpool and Liverpool Convention Bureau
brands.
o 8.20 – 8.50: Speech of Leader of the People's
Committee of Danang city - also the chief organizer
of the event.

o 9.00 – 9h20: State of the market - Asia Pacific in


focus ( Paul Burton)
+ He is responsible for shaping and implementing
Aviation Week Network strategy for the Asia Pacific
region, and his portfolio spans all areas of AWN output,
including exhibitions, conferences, data/insight, media
and advertising.
+ Prior to joining AWN, he was Director of Content and
Asia-Pacific Business Development at Jane’s by IHS
Markit.
o 9.30 – 10.00: CEO Keynote Interview (Le Hong Ha –
CEO Vietnam Airlines).
+ He previously served as the General Director of Jetstar
Pacific Airlines and has over 26 years of experience with
Vietnam Airlines.

+ Currently, he is also the Chairman of the Board of


Directors of Skypec, a company that deals in jet fuel.
o 10.05 – 10.50: Debate: What next for route
development?

- Mr Jim Parashos: General Manager International


Recovery, Melbourne Airport.

o 11.00-13.30 : Lunch party.


- Afternoon: Exhibitor Networking at Da Nang Exhibition
of Fair Center.
o 14.00: Exhibition Opening.

o 14.30 – 16.30: Exhibitor Networking and Meetings.

o 18.30 – 20.30: Ariyana International Convention
Center will organize a welcome reception.
DAY 3:
o 8.00 – 9.00: Route development - The BIG 5 MEGA

o 9.10 – 9h40: Airport and airline recovery strategies.


+ Tara Naidu: Chief of Commercial, Air India Express.
o 10.00: Case Study by Vietnam Airlines.
o 11.00: Conference ends.
