Explanation

Can or Should

Usually, CAN is used to give options or explain that you have the ability to do something, while
SHOULD is used to give a personal opinion.

E.g. You CAN walk home at night, but it's dangerous. So I think you SHOULD get a taxi.

1. In New York, there's a lot to do. For instance, you can visit Ellis Island or the Statue of Liberty
or a number of other places.
2. Okay, but what do you think I should do while I'm in New York?
3. It's somewhat dangerous to walk at night, you should get a cab home.
4. Can you tell me some fun things to do in your city?
5. In your opinion, should I visit the National Museum?
6. The city tour bus is great! You should ride it sometime!
