Dear Chandresh,
As discussed, please collect the required data as per procedure and share the same with us:
1. FIM4 Embedded logs.
2. Alarm and Event summery.
3. DCT from Primary Experion Server.
HOW TO COLLECT C300, FIM4/8 OR PGM EMBEDDED LOG FILES.
‐ On the primary Experion PKS server, open CTools.
o For Experion PKS releases R400 and newer, navigate to “C:\Program Files
(x86)\Honeywell\Experion PKS\Engineering Tools\system\Firmware\CTools”.
o For Experion PKS releases prior to R400, navigate to “C:\Program
Files\Honeywell\Experion PKS\Engineering Tools\system\Firmware\CTools”.
‐ Double click on the CTools.exe file.
‐ Select the checkbox next to the module that you need the embedded logs from.
‐ Select the Diagnostic button.
o Select Upload and then Save Data in the Diagnostic Capture window.
o Once CTools has captured the logs, a dialog box to save the CAP file will appear.
o In the Save As dialog window, navigate to the desired file storage location and
type the desired name in the File name field and select Save.
o Repeat this procedure for the redundant controller if redundant configuration.

CONFIGURE AN ALARM AND EVENT REPORT
‐ On the primary Experion PKS server, open Station and select Configure / Reports /
Reports.
o Select Server wide report configuration.
o Set all Field Width values to Max setting
Time: 30
Source: 40
Description: 132
Value: 24
Operator: 50
Condition: 30
o Select Configure reports.
On the Reports page, select a blank Report line.
Select a Report type of Alarm and Event.
Enter a Name for the report and press Enter key.

Check the box for Enable reporting on request.
Leave the Destination as Station Default Printer.
o Select the Content tab.
Select the Occurring as Between.
If you did not received specific instructions for start and end times, please
use the following as a default.
Start time should be at least one hour before the incident.
End time should be at least one hour after the incident.
Click on Request.
o The output file is of text format and have a RPT### type filename format.
For Experion PKS releases R400 and newer, the report will be located in
“C:\ProgramData\Honeywell\Experion PKS\Server\Data\Report”.

‐ Select Start All Programs Honeywell Experion PKS Server Diagnostic Tools
Diagnostic Capture Tool.
‐ Select Yes to allow changes window.
‐ When DCT opens, select the ‘Save Diagnostic Package’ button and click YES to
proceed.
‐ Select the location to save the DCT and use the default filename which contains the
Server name and the date/time the DCT was generated. Select SAVE.
‐ DCT will take several minutes to gather information from the.
‐ Click OK When done.
