demonstrations have become a common phenomenon in our society. Responding to this phenomenon,

Demonstrasi massal tidak selalu disebabkan oleh urusan dalam negeri, bahkan banyak peristiwa yang

membaginya menjadi beberapa tingkatan. Kebutuhan yang paling mendasar adalah makanan dan
minuman. Sedangkan yang paling puncak adalah kebutuhan aktualisasi diri.

demonstrate because they need recognition from the government and other parties so that their rights
and existence are recognized. Because they feel left out, their rights are denied, even humiliated, then
they try to show their identity by demonstrating.

Namun, secara umum, demonstrasi massa lebih didasarkan pada kebutuhan tingkat akhir. Rakyat
berdemonstrasi karena membutuhkan pengakuan dari pemerintah dan pihak lain agar hak dan
eksistensinya diakui. Karena merasa dikucilkan, haknya diingkari, bahkan dihina, maka mereka berusaha
menunjukkan jati dirinya dengan berdemonstrasi

With such facts, it is clear that poverty is not the main cause for the wave of demonstrations. However,
this phenomenon is caused more by the critical thinking ability of the community members. They know
about their rights, they also understand that there have been violations and arbitrariness around them.
They then protested and made a number of demands. If these factors are not present in them, no
matter what happens around them, they will be like a buffalo to the nose: nod and say "yes" to
whatever actions of their leaders even if they deviate, and even oppress themselves.
