A Doggy Situation

In an apartment near the Empire State Building, there lived a man named John
Cooper. John was supposed to wake up early in the morning for a job interview.
He is a creative artist that many people in his life admire because of his works. As
soon as he went to the interview, he noticed a dog in the hall of his apartment
building. He said to himself,” Whose dog is this? he murmured. He thought about
taking the dog in his apartment and left it there.

As soon as he got in the interview session, he said, “I’m sorry I’m late...I didn’t
wake up early. “What is this? You're a mess!, said the woman whom he’s speaking
about his tardiness. It won’t happen again, I promise, he said. After one hour of the
session, he went to a cafe near the Museum of Modern Art. He sat there and cleaned
himself up. He thought about the dog he took in. “ What if I was the dog? Lost in
that hallway..looking for someone to take me in.. despite me of being a mess and
odorful. He began to realize what he had been through for the past years of being
an artist. A mess that is searching for something he lost and for someone to admire
his works. He didn’t look back until that one morning he met that dog.

He went to see the paintings and works in the museum after thinking about that.
Like someone who had first encountered such amazing paintings that no other
person can relate too. Being an artist meant for him in ways that his life revolved
around it. It was past 8 o'clock pm during the time he left the museum. He went
home, contemplating and feeling awe that led to him to understand what it’s like
to be a mess. In a manner of getting in bed so quickly, he encountered the dog that
made a mess in his bathroom. His day was special, he pondered in his mind, the
day where he met a dog that is similar to him.

“He must be hungry and he must be bored and wants to play, he said to himself. I
was kind of like that during my day” he rhymingly said. Nothing is a mess, that’s
for sure, he thought that everything is a mess until something will take
responsibility. He cared for and shared his home to this dog, for something special
that made him whole again.
