What is CRP?

CRP CRP stands for Conference Room Pilot

CRP is not a phase but a stage where we interact with the clients and let know what
we are doing for them. It is conducted in different phases and different intervals
of a project which help us to make sure that we understand the clients requirement
and implementing as per their precise requisites. Basically there are 3 ERP
followed by UAT.

Why is CRP needed?

With the help of CRPS we can understand the clients requirement and make them
understand how we are going to progress in implementation. These include
information such as basic design of the organization, existing structure, and
existing technical architecture. Besides there are more lot things that will be
discussed while CRPs such as how they want to develop the software, their basic
information that needs us to develop certain forms and legal pages. And once we
try to develop software as per their requisites then in middle that has to be
discussed with the client and show them how and what we are doing.

When is CRP needed?

CRP is needed right from the initiation of the project till the end before UAT so
we can develop the project, implement it and if there are any bugs then we can fix
it.

Majorly there are three main stages of CRP: CRP 1, CRP 2 & CRP 3.

How is CRP performed?

CRP 1:-

Generally the CRP1 is considered a stage where we try to understand the business
requirements, technical architecture and to present an overview of ERP that we will
be developing for them. One of the most vital roles of CRP1 will be to gather f
high-level requirements - identify how well the application meets business needs,
and identify gaps, whilst still in the design phase of the project. Here business
attendees will also provide their ideas of developing the ERP.

CRP 2:-

This is a stage where we develop the ERP based on the data that we took from the
client. This phase will enhance the clients to see their future ERP model. Here
client will have more precise picture of the ERP model. This stage will include
flow charts, diagrams and presentations that can make client more understand. Most
issues should be resolved by the team during the exercises or delegated for further
action on GAP analysis

CRP 3:-

This is the final stage of CRP where we the development of ERP is completed and is
ready for UAT. Here the customization for the Gaps identified in the CRP2 are fixed
and demonstrates a fully fledged solution appropriate to client. The users will see
the end to end scenario of the ERP with the new data.

UAT:-

UAT- User Acceptance Test.

This is conducted after CRP3 when the ERP is completely developed and is ready to
use. Here we will be testing the 100% functionality and end to end integration
including the RICE components.
