Description  

 The designer produces solution designs (functional and technical) whilst ensuring that functional
and nonfunctional requirement is preserved during the slicing  of the Detailed Business
Requirements into the Detailed Application Design

12. DATA ENGINEER - Relocation needed to Poland, Belgium, Romania or UK

 Collect, clean, prepare and load the necessary data - structured or unstructured - onto Hadoop,
our Big Data analytics platform, so that they can be used for reporting purposes; creating insights,
and answering business challenges
 Act as a liaison between the team and other stakeholders and contribute to support the Hadoop
cluster and the compatibility of all the different software that runs on the platform (Spark, R,
Python, …)

Job description  
 Identify the most appropriate data sources to use for a given purpose and understand their
structures and contents, in collaboration with SMEs when required
 Extract structured and unstructured data from the source systems (relational databases, data
warehouses, document repositories, file systems, …), prepare such data (cleanse, re-structure,
aggregate, …), and load them onto Hadoop.
 Actively support reporting teams in the data exploration and data preparation phases. Where data
quality issues are detected, liaise with the data supplier to do root cause analysis

The Euroclear IT GBS (Group Business Solutions) division ensures the competitiveness of Euroclear by
delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our technical teams
deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients.
Within the IT GBS division, the Corporate Support Applications is responsible for the delivery, support, and
maintenance of the application used by the company Corporate Support Functions (Finance, HR, Legal,
Audit, Risk…). We are looking for an ORMB Solution Architect to join the team to will drive the overall end-
to-end solution design of ORMB, ensuring those are well integrated into the overall application landscape
and fulfill our internal clients’ business objectives. This position is critical for the success of the team, we

Role
 Lead the ORMB application solution design during the ORMB roll-out. Coordinating the inputs from
the business and running the alignment process between requirements and solutions.
 Translate the business rules described by the business analysts or directly by the key users into
unambiguous Application logic
 Identify the key business processes as well and applications impacted by changes respecting the
Architecture Solution and  Architecture guidelines
 Drive the application design, including integrations, by coordinating inputs from various experts to
reach a consensus
 Clearly articulate the rationale of the end to end solution design to business stakeholders as well as
delivery teams as well and produce key solution design documents throughout the life cycle of
projects
 Coordinate with other application areas to define optimal design & integration between ORMB and
other domains applications
