activities assigned by your tutor.
6.2 Take units 4 and 5 tests in MyEnglishLab. Check the course calendar to
complete this activity.

Completion of all assigned activities: 15 points.
Tests completion: 10 points.

Complete these activities during week 6.

Activities to be graded
1. Writing (8 points)
1.1 Interact with learning object 5 in order to learn how to structure an article to
describe a place.
1.2 In a Word file write a four-paragraph composition about a place you know well.
Bear in mind the guideline studied in learning object above. Make sure you use there
is, there are (affirmative and negative), comparatives and superlatives adjectives
quantifiers, and the vocabulary studied in guideline 1 and 2. Use correct punctuation
marks. Write from 200 – 220 words.
2. Speaking (8 points)
2.1. When you have to answer questions (in an interview or in an international exam),
you have to show willingness to speak at length. Do not answer with just 1 or 2
words. Give specific details.
2.2. Interact with learning object 6 to understand what you have to do in the
speaking activity.
2.3. On the link https://bit.ly/2SNIj9x you will learn how to use Vocaroo, an online
voice recorder tool.
2.4 Choose only one of the following topics and answer the 3 questions.
Remember it is a speaking activity. Follow the recommendations given in the
instructions above. Do not read any script. Develop your ideas in a natural way.

3. Assessment
Reflect about your learning process in this guideline. Write freely a one-paragraph
composition telling about your experience. Mention strengthens, weaknesses and
what you consider you could improve. Include this paragraph in the Word file with
the other activities you have to submit.

Note: Submit the Word file with the 3 activities requested (written activity, link to
recording, and self-assessment) by the activities tab before the deadline. Check the
course calendar. You will be penalized if you do not use APA format (2 points) or if
you do not include the self-assessment form (2 points).
