UNIDAD EDUCATIVA

"SIMON BOLIVAR B"

SBB. 6to A - B

UNIT Four
STATEMENTS WITH SAY (SAID) AND TELL (TOLD)
PRACTICE(PRACTICA)
I WILL FOLLOW HIM
I will follow Him
Follow Him wherever He may go
And near Him, I always will be
For nothing can keep me away
He is my destiny
I will follow Him
Ever since He touched my heart I knew
There isn't an ocean too deep
Or mountain so high it can keep
Keep me away
Away from His love
I love Him!
I love Him!
I love Him!.......

THEORY(TEORIA)

I told him I was there. They told us she went home. You told me you loved music.
I said I was there. They said she went home. You said you loved music.
usamos say para los saludos y despedidas: to say hello, to say goodbye, etc.
“decimos algo a alguien” (SAY something TO …).
• Jane, I said stop! (Jane, he dicho que pares!)
• I said it to Max (Se lo dije a Max).
• “I’m tired of you!”, she said (“¡Estoy harta de ti!”, dijo ella).
Uso del TELL
Usamos TELL cuando queremos “decir o contar a alguien algo”.
• I told you to visit her (Te dije que la visitaras).
• I told you about my problems (Te conté mis problemas).
Asimismo TELL también nos permite dar órdenes.
• I told you not to do it (Te dije que no lo hicieras).
