Task1:
In 1990, over half of all British families did not have regular use of a car, compared with well
under 40% of households had one car and only about 12% had two or more cars. After that,
the percentage of one-car households increased significantly to nearly 55%, whereas that of
no-car ones dropped rapidly to just over 30% in 2005. Meanwhile, the figure for two or more
