PERSONAL PROJECTS
I've heard you've done some changing
I've been rearranging
Wish that I could know, but I just don't know
Never get that time back
Fear we'd fall in old traps
Why can't we just let go
Staring at a fork in the fucking road
I struggle
I juggle
I could just throw a line to you
But I should let sleeping dogs lie
'Cause I know better, baby
I write it
Erase it
Repeat it
But what good will it do
To reopen the wound
So I take a deep breath
And I save as draft

1)Write the English meaning of the new words you found. Mention the source where you got the
meaning of the new words.
SUV: Abbreviation for sport utility vehicle or sports utility vehicle; a large powerful car with an
engine that supplies power to all four wheels. Taken from https://dictionary.cambridge.org/es/
Juggle: To throw several objects up into the air, and then catch and throw them up repeatedly so that
one or more stays in the air, usually in order to entertain people. Taken from
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/es/
Rearranging: To change the order, position, or time of arrangements already made. Taken from
https://dictionary.cambridge.org/es/
Subtweet: A tweet in which you mention a person but do not use @ before their name so they do not
see what you have written. Taken from
2)Justify and explain with examples the grammar structures you found.
There are several sentences in which the verbs are in the present tense, so that the sentence is in the
present simple, such as “So I take a deep breath”
The simple future is easily identified with the auxiliary will, and within the song we can see the
following sentence in that tense “But what good will it do”.
To talk about situations that we did repeatedly in the past, we use the phrase "used to" followed by the
infinitive verb. In the song, we have an example of this with “I remember when you used to be my
every other thought”
The present perfect is used to refer to actions that began in the past and are continuing today and can
be identified by the use of the auxiliary have/has followed by the verb in past participle. In the song
we find as an example “I've heard you've done some changing”

got the meaning of the new words.
