(a) State the function of the ignition system on a motor vehicle.

(b) Outline four requirements of a good ignition system.
(c) Using a neat labeled sketch, explain the operation of a conventional coil ignition system.
(d) Suggest two reasons for incorporation a condenser in the above system.
