(c) A client brought a vehicle in a workshop complaining that when he switches on the directional indicator,
the front lamp does not flash. As a technician to work on this vehicle;
(i) Suggest four steps to be taken in an effort to rectify the problem. (04 marks)
(ii) Using a well labeled line diagram, draw a complete indicator/hazard lamp circuit for the above
client’s car. (09 marks)
(iii)Suppose the filament of only one bulb in the directional indicator system above shows, suggest how
the system will respond. (02 marks)

according to speed, load and road conditions.
(a) Suggest four other advantages of this system apart from those stated above. (04 marks)
(b) In light of the statement above, explain the two systems that are used to:
(i) Deliver correct quantity of fuel. (04 marks)
(ii) Meter correct air due to engine load. (04 marks)
(c) Illustrate using a well labeled line diagram the layout of one of the two systems mentioned in 6 b) (i).
