Dear diary,
Today, in my English class we discussed the theme of “ identities”.
So, who are we? What do I like? Am I a good person? All of these
questions go under the theme “identities”. I know that there are
many aspects that influence our sense of identities like our choices in
life, hobbies etc. Personally I think that identities are influenced by
representing each of us, physically, emotionally, educationally,
socially and ethically.
There are different types of identities we view in real life which
includes personal identities, global identities , national identities and
etc. I see that personal identities differ from one person to another
since all of us don’t have the same physical characteristics and
preferences. Like, I like the color blue while my best friend likes the
color black. Furthermore, personal identities represent our
emotions, what we like, how we learn and how social we are since
some people could be introvert and other could be extrovert this will
help me learn about different cultures and become educated from
variety of experiences I face.
To conclude, my view of personal identities that its valuable in our
life , it will help us trust ourselves and help us learn different values
and ethics like being open minded, tolerant and ect.
