In August, members of the society helped organize an event under the aegis of the Poetry
Society of India called Remembering The Poet as tribute to the eminent poet late Shri
Rakshat Puri at DELNET. Dr Rita Malhotra was the coordinator of the programme. At inter-
college events Spin-A-Yarn and Mind-Talk, two of our members bagged the first and second
positions respectively.

Some other prizes won include: Aishwarya Shekhar won the first prize for Concept Paper
Writing Competition held by Teri University, and was among the top 10 winners from India
in an essay competition held by India and Africa in collaboration with the Ministry of
External Affairs. Saanvi Vashisht, won the first position in the Creative Writing Competition
organized by AISEC- Global Humanism Summit (GHS). Sramana Mukherjee claimed the
1st prize for Creative Writing Competition, Greenathon.
