c) an występuje przed rzeczownikiem rozpoczynającym się od samogłoski (pod względem
fonetycznym),
np. an egg an apple an hour
d) nie używamy przedimków przed rzeczownikami w liczbie mnogiej,
np. I don’t like buses
e) nie używamy przedimków przed nazwami miast i państw,
np. Madrid is in Spain
f) nie używamy przedimków w niektórych wyrażeniach,
np. on holiday, at work, on foot, by bus

e) the używamy przed nazwami, rzeczownikami które są jedyne w swoim rodzaju,

np. The moon, the Eiffle Tower
f) the używamy w niektórych wyrażeniach,
np. On the right, on the metro, in the morning
g) używamy w stopniu najwyższym przymiotników i przysłówków,
np. the most beautiful, the worst
