PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Dear Candidate,

You have been provided with the course material and schedule of ATLS 10 th Edition. While
preparing for the course, you are required to read the course manual thoroughly and completely
before appearing in the course. This will help you in understanding the lectures, skill stations and
getting through the posttest.

Please note that skill stations mentioned in the program are “Teaching” and “Evaluation’ Sections
of the course. You are required to come full prepared for the skill stations given at the end of each
chapter in the manual. You will be evaluated by your instructor in an interactive way at each skill
station. Your successful completion of each skill station is mandatory for the final test result.

You are required to especially come prepared for following skill station:

 Day1
Basic / Advanced Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability
 Day 2
Pediatric Airway and Surgical Cricothyrotomy, Adjunct, Secondary Survey,
Initial Assessment practice and team training.
 Day 03
Come prepared with your triage scenarios, written exam and practical test.

Assignments:
Please fill your all seven triage scenarios given in the manual and come prepared with triage
scenarios. The Triage scenarios are located in Appendix F (Page 317) of your 10th ATLS®
Student Manual. Your responses can be written in your book. Please respond to the Question for
each scenario BEFORE the course.

Please submit your pretest online before the course which would be email to you from ATLS
department and hard copy will be collected on first day at registration.
