The Role and Obstacles of Parents in the Children’s Learning Process at Home During the
Covid-19 Pandemi Era

At this time, the world is facing a big problem. Starting from dhe emergence of a disease
outbreak caused by virus, namely the corona virus which is a familiarly called covid 19, almost
all aspects of life undergo changes that are increasingly worrying, thrilling the entire world,
especially in the world education.

Regarding this, the central government issued policies, one of which was to cancel activities
(face to face), one of which was educational institusions, this was done as an effort to prevent the
transmission of the corona virus or covid 19. During this covid 19 pandemic, all over the country
world like USA, India, Uniteted kingdom, Russia, Turkey, France, Iran, Argentina, Germany
which is made panic.

The certainly has a major impact on the educational development of children, who are currently
required to study independently, study online. In this case, of course the role of parents is
needed.

The are several things that are considered to be problems, namely the lack of knowledge that
parents have, regarding communication tools, internet access (network) and the also the economy
that makes it difficult for student, sepecially parents.

The role of parents is crucial to success education of their children, including parents who act as :
(1) Educators, namely parents are responsible for their children by striving for thevelopment of
all children’s potential, both potiental affective, cognitive and psychomotor potential, (2) driver
(motivator), driving or encouraging children to do some work (3) the facilitator, in addition to
having basic needs me, also needs learning facilities, so parents are obligated fulfill the facilities
so that the learning process runs smoothly (4) supervisors, parents are not only obligated only
provide school facilities and fees but also parents needed to guide their children. Old man in
provile the best education for their children is not no doubt.

The conclusion of the topic is the role of parentsnin accompanying children in the learning
process during the covid 19 pandemic era, namely as a mentor, providing facilities, providing
motivation, providing a variety of information. And the obstacles for parents in supporting
learning activities at home during the covid 19 period are the lack of parental knowledge of the
material, the lack of parents economy, the difficulty of accompanying children during online
learning. While the situation is to ask the teacher, work hard andbe frugal, and divide the time to
treat children.

Peran Dan Kendala Orang Tua Dalam Proses Belajar Anak Di Rumah Pada Era Pandemi
Covid-19

Pada saat ini, dunia sedang menghadapi masalah besar. Berawal dari munculnya suatu wabah
penyakit yang disebabkan oleh virus, yaitu virus corona yang akrab disebut Covid 19, hampir
semua aspek kehidupan mengalami perubahan-perubahan yang semakin hari semakin
mengkhawatirkan, mendebarkan seluruh isi dunia, terutama dalam dunia pendidikan.

Mengenai hal tersebut pemerintah pusat mengeluarkan kebijakan-kebijakan, salah satunya


meliburkan aktivitas (tatap muka) salah satunya lembaga pendidikan, hal ini dilakukan sebagai
upaya-upaya pencegahan penularan virus corona atau covid 19 ini.

Dimasa pandemi covid-19 ini melanda seluruh negeri di belahan dunia seperti AS,India, Brasil,
Inggris Raya, Rusia, Turki, Prancis, Iran, Argentina, Jerman yang dibuat panik.

Hal ini tentunya berdampak besar pada perkembangan pendidikan anak, yang saat ini dituntut
untuk belajar mandiri, belajar secara daring. Dalam hal inilah tentunya peran orang tua sangat
dibutuhkan.

Ada beberapa hal yang di nilai menjadi masalah, yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan yang dimiliki o
rang tua, mengenai alat komunikasi, akses internet (jaringan), dan juga perekonomian yang
menyulitkan siswa terutama orang tua.

Peran orang tua sangat menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan anak-anaknya, diantaranya orang
tua berperan sebagai : (1) Pendidik (edukator), yaitu orang tua bertanggung jawab terhadap anak
dengan mengupayakan perkembangan seluruh potensi anak baik potensi afektif, potensi kognitif
dan psikomotor, (2) Pendorong (motivator), penggerak atau pendorong anak untuk melakukan
sesuatu pekerjaan. (3) Fasilitator, selain harus terpenuhi kebutuhan pokoknya juga membutuhkan
fasilitas belajar, jadi orang tua berkewajiban memenuhi fasilitas agar proses belajar berjalan
dengan lancar (4) Pembimbing, orang tua tidak hanya berkewajiban memberikan fasilitas dan
biata sekolah saja tetapi orang tua juga dibutuhkan dalam membimbing anak-anaknya. Orang tua
dalam memberikan pendidikan yang terbaik bagi anak-anaknya memang tidakperlu diragukan
lagi.

Kesimpulan dari topik tersebut yaitu peran orang tua dalam mendampingi anak dalam proses
belajar selama era pandemi covid-19 yaitu sebagai pembimbing, memyediakan fasilitas,
memberikan motivasi, memberikan ragam informasi. Dan kendalan orang tua dalam mendukung
kegiatan pembelajaran di rumah pada masa covid 19 yaitu kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua
terhadap materi, kurangnya ekonomi orang tua, kesulitan mendampingi anak saat pembelajaran
_daring_ . Sedangkan solisinya yaitu nertanya kepada guru, bekerja keras dan berhemat, dan
membagi waktu untuk mendapi anak.
