IMPORTANCE OF ATTENDANCE IN SCHOOL

Introduction
Enrolling in a school, where we can receive more than enough knowledge and values to
help us become better people and help us achieve our goals in life, is one of the most
efficient ways to learn about the things we should acquire throughout our lives. This will
put everyone on a better path for the future of all individuals who seek to succeed in life.
It is imperative to attend class since it has an impact on both your present and future
behaviors.

What is the importance of school attendance? The following are some of the
reasons why we should prioritize being active and attending school:
 Regular school attendance is one of the most effective methods to provide a
person the best chance of success in life.

 Regular attendance at school is important for students since it will improve their
performance not only in the classroom but also throughout their entire life.

 Encouragement of regular attendance improves academic performance, fosters

the formation of wholesome lifestyle habits, aids in the avoidance of risky
behavior, and increases the likelihood that students will graduate from college.

 The key to breaking the cycle of poverty in underdeveloped regions is frequently

a good education.

 When several students are frequently absent, it can be challenging for teachers
to educate the class and develop their students' skills.

 Regularly absent students are more likely to engage in criminal activity or

otherwise cause trouble in their communities.

 Students that prioritize attending school regularly set themselves up for success
in all facets of life.

 Students' grades and reading abilities increase significantly when they are not
regularly absent. In addition to building meaningful connections and excellent
social skills—both of which are important life skills—students who regularly
attend school feel more a part of their community.

My realizations as a Student
I've been a student for 18 years, and during that time I've missed a few classes. Even
though I only missed one day of class, it was still challenging because I had a lot of
lessons to catch up on. My lack of concentration caused me to start bothering my fellow
classmates, who couldn't fully describe our professor's lecture, so they also struggled to
explain it to me, and I struggled to understand them. I'm just being hard on myself since
I'm risking my grades, which could affect my future as well.

My point of view if I were to be a Professor

Teachers function similarly to parents. They always want you to give your best effort. If I
were the professor, I would be sad and disappointed if my class was incomplete. I know
for a fact that professors teach not only because it is their job, but also because they
want to share their knowledge and skills in order to help and guide students into a better
future.

As a human, going to school is something we should prioritize and make a habit of

doing because it greatly contributes in developing a positive attitude towards life and a
successful way of living. Education, according to some, is the only form of riches you
may possess in this life and pass on to your loved ones.
