    Interpretation
    · A single negative result must always be interpreted considering patient history, clinical correlation and other
    related information. Repeat test after 2-5 days if clinically indicated.

    · In case of positive results, it is strongly advised that the patient should stay at home under self-isolation and
    maintain social distancing as per WHO guidelines.

    · In case, the patient develops shortness of breath, he/she should seek medical advice.

    · In symptomatic cases with positive SARS CoV-2, additional tests (Blood CP, D-dimers, Serum LDH, Ferritin,
    CPK, Troponin, X-ray Chest P/A view) may be required for timely clinical management.

    Method:
    Test performed on BIO-RAD CFX96 Real Time PCR System with internal and external positive controls, using the
    SARS CoV-2 assay with detection limit of 100 copies/mL.
