Salt Spray Moist Air — Compressed air passes through the air saturator to
pick up heat and moisture. This mixes with salt solution at the atomiser to
create salt spray.
Chamber and Air saturator temperatures are controlled.
Maximum Chamber temperature 50°C (Not available on Autolite)

‘Saif Spray Dry Air Compressed air that does not pass through the air
saturator mixes with salt solution at the atomiser to create salt spray,
Chamber temperature is controlled.
Maximum Chamber temperature 50°C (Not available on Autolite)
Drying - Compressed air is blown into the chamber through a dispersion
bar. Chamber temperature is controlled.
Maximum Chamber temperature 70°C
with water which is
Welting - the base of the chamber automaticallh
heated in order to generate condensation humicity.
Chamber temperature is controlled
Maximum Chamber temperature 50°C

Controlled humidity - A combination of the Drying and Wetting functions:
Temperature and Relative humidity are both controlled.
Maximum chamber temperature 60°C
Maximum RH 95%
Ambient
Phew}
‘Ambien! Drying - The chamber canopy opens aulomatically to expose the
samples to the ambient conditions in the room.
There is no control of temperature or relative humidity.
Emply - No function active. Can be used fo ‘delete’ a program step.
If selected, no function will be active during this step of the program; a
fime can siill be entered for the step. This can be used to operate as a
“delayed” start to a test commencing or to allow the chamber to gradually
