Style 200 SBR Binder

Manufactured from synthetic fibers bonded together into a homogenous sheet with an SBR
binder, Style 200 is our most popular compressed sheet. It withstands temperatures up to
750 °F and 399 °C with excellent creep resistance and high torque retention properties.
Style 200 is treated with a clear anti-stick release agent and is recommended for pressures
up to 1200 psi. This compressed sheet gasket services water, steam, mild chemicals, and
inert gases. Applications include all mating pipe flanges, boilers, manhole and handhold
gaskets, pumps, compressors, valves, turbines, mixers and vessels.

determining the suitability of a gasket material in a known environment. Use the
pressure and temperature graphs to select the most suitable material for your
application.

1. In area one, the gasket material is suitable using common installation

practices subject to chemical compatibility.
2. In area two, appropriate measures are necessary for installation of the gasket
