Praise be to our gratitude for the presence of Allah SWT because of the
abundance of grace and guidance we were able to complete a paper on "Telling
English Learning Methode for Young Learners” This paper was prepared as an
Assignment for English for Young Learners Discourse.
We realize that the preparation of this paper is far from perfect, both in
terms of composition, discussion or writing. Therefore, we expect constructive
criticism and suggestions, especially from lecturers in the Writing course, to be a
reference in our experience to be better in the future. Hopefully this paper
provides useful information for others who read it and is useful for the
development of insight and improvement of knowledge for all of us.

CHAPTER I
1.1. Background
English is the international language. With master English well, then we
will be able to communicate with other nations in the world. In addition, we
will be able to add insight and our knowledge for the betterment of our nation
and state, because we will be able to read literature in English, listen to radio
broadcasts abroad, as well as watching movies science others. Thus, in the end
we can master the knowledge-knowledge in all fields.
English teaching for Young Learner in Indonesia is still controversial
among teachers and parents. Parents pay close attention to their children
progress in communicating and interacting. Many English courses and
programs quickly attract children and their families from middle to high-
classes background.
In addition to increasing understanding about the international language,
Learning English is at least will be easier for us to get a decent job, or for the
provision of our science in the future. By understanding and mastering the
international language properly certainly provide excellent benefits for us all.
To that end, it is necessary to first understand grammatical e!ist in English. In
addition to smooth pronunciation, we will also understand how to construct
words to be spoken so that it becomes a coherent sentences and correct
according to his tenses.

B. Methods
1. For Playgroup and Kindergarten
Our aim is to develop in your child a love for English and a positive
attitude towards language learning. Our courses give children the
oppoturnity to learn the language in an English speaking environment
and help prepare them for entering into kindergarten and primary
school.
a. Choose an Easy Method
Choosing an easier methode methodology in teaching English to kids
has some merit.
Firstly, young children’s attention is hard to maintain. The usual
lesson where studemts have to sit at their desks and losten to the
teacher is not a perfect fit for them.
Secondly, preschoolers memorize information differently than
adults. They have a sreat mental trait called involuntary memory,

They have coherence and unity for learners (from topic, activity
and/or outcome).
They have meaning and purpose for learners.
They have clear language-learning goals.
They involve the learner actively.
4. Provide scaffolding.
Scaffolding refers to how a child learns through collaboration with
a more knowledgeable partner (a parent, a classmate, a
teacher). When children work collaboratively on tasks (such as
sequencing pictures in a story, completing a puzzle or completing
an information-gap task), more proficient learners can often
provide the scaffolding less proficient learners need.

CONCLUSION
Choosing the proper teaching style depends on students’ skill and abilities.
We use the most effective methodologies for all age groups to develop real
communicative ability. We believe that interaction between students and
the teacher is the best way to achieve this and help your children learn
English.
