Good afternoon!

Teachers, faculty and staff, and all the students- warm

greeting to one and all of you. Today I speak in behalf of our Provincial
Governor, Gov. Xavier Jesus XJ” D. Romualdo. And on his behalf, we
would like to thank CPSC for the invitation.
I am extremely privileged to have this opportunity to address you all at this
event the “Clash of Wits and Talents Featuring Trashion Queen
2022”. And I want to start by recognizing our main attraction, the stars
of today’s show, our fabulous student performers. The children who are
the future of this nation. I believe that education is about far more than
what happens within the four walls of a classroom, thus, I acclaim the
school for not just drawing the academic potential of the students but as
well as motivating and inspiring the young minds to showcase their
talents and creative potential. Undoubtedly, you students are very
fortunate to have such a school as CPSC for believing in you and your
spark aka nga giving you your moment to shine.
What our children are going to be in the future is what we make of them
today. The brilliant faces that we will be witnessing today, exhibiting their
talents will definitely grow up to achieve great success, name, and fame as
well as high human values. But on the other hand, we wish them to be
good human beings also and make this world a better place to live in.
Thus of importance as well for our educators to hone the personal
qualities like leadership & teamwork, determination & flexibility,
confidence & self-belief, respect & consideration of our students in
order to bring about the qualities of a responsible citizen in them, which
CPSC is going a great job of.

On another note, I would also like to applaud the school for activating
RECYCLE AWARENESS amongst its students. Sad to say but fact is,
in the Philippines, recycling is not a very popular culture. Recycling
programs are often temporary because we Filipinos are actively skeptical
of recycling programs because we find waste separation messy and
difficult. This program is a great way to
to create an ethic of waste management and ultimately change the
relationship between Filipinos and our garbage. Students and teachers
become agents of change to bring the message of REUSING,
REDUCING, REPAIRING, RECYCLING into our households. Let us
not waste the waste.

To all the student who participated in this program,

CONGRATULATIONS in advance. Whatever the results will be, know
that you are already winners. Yes you are winners because you tried,
not everyone has the guts and confidence to do so, but you took the
chance to showcase your talent and skill. And for that
CONGRATULATIONS.

Let me end by leaving you this message. Students, do everything that you
are interested in, it is never too late to start. Be there for your loved
ones, as without their presence many things would be different in your
life. Take time to appreciate the little things and be your role model.
Keep on shining, keep on smiling, don’t lose faith, and don’t lose heart,
just like a shining star because to shine your brightest light is to be who
you truly are.

So without wasting much time let us begin and unfold the various
performances awaiting. I hope you will enjoy the afternoon while our
young students spread the magic by their performances. Again, a
pleasant afternoon to all.
