Comparative scales

Two or more objects at one time and objects are directly compared with one another as part of the
measuring process

Paired comparison is a comparison scale with a defined criterion (Often Physical Products)

Rank order scaling is based on respondent ranking to objects/options

Constant sum scaling asks respondents to give sum of certain units to options available on some
criterion
