Talk through before music

- In couples, make a big circle on the floor
o Ladies on outer circle
o Gent on inner circle (in other words, ladies are always
right!)
- Hand positions
o Gents take your arm and put it round the ladies waist
(or jut hold hands)

- Dance steps
1. Go forward for 2, 3 hop then back 2, 3, hop
2. You’re going to split up and move to the side 2, 3 clap,
back 2, 3 then into a waltz hold
3. You’re going to side step to the right for 2, then back for 2
4. Polka for 8: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

Talk through during music

1. Forward 2, 3, hop back 2, 3, hop
2. Split 2, 3, clap back 2, 3, 4
3. Step, step, back, back
