• cloud storage is a method of data storage where data is

• The same data is stored on more than one server in

access data at any time. This is known as data
redundancy.

customer/client and cloud storage provider are different

FOR THE SERVICE YOU USE.

• NEAR-UNLIMITED SCALABILITY—ON-DEMAND RESOURCES ARE AVAILABLE TO MEET
YOUR BUSINESS NEEDS.
• HIGH RELIABILITY—A VAST NETWORK OF SERVERS ENSURES AGAINST FAILURE
• PRIVATE CLOUD – this is storage provided by a dedicated
environment behind a company firewall; customer/client
and cloud storage provider are integrated and operate as a
single entity

• a network interface card (nic) is needed to allow a device to connect to a

network (such as the internet). it is usually part of the device hardware and
contains the media access control (mac) address generated at the
manufacturing stage.
• Wireless network interface cards / controllers are same as NIC cards. they use
wireless connectivity utilizing an antenna to communicate with networks via
microwaves. They would normally plug into the USB port or be part of an
internal integrated circuit.
