ANCHOR (Kim): Communis and Communicare are two Latin word means sharing or communiality and make something
common that are related to the word communication. For more datails regarding the communication and its
characteristics here’s Maria Lourdes Del Rosario, Maria?
NEWSCASTER 1 (Maria): Thank you Kim, as we all know communication is more than of an Art than Science because it is
a free form of how we are communicating to each other and there’s no rules and guidelines. It is complex because we
have different point of views and interpretation. In addition I have here beside me one of the grade 11 student from
ANSHS that will share her thoughts about communication and its characteristics.
GRADE 11 STUDENT (Faith): Good day Ms. Maria, I’m Faith Garcia. For me communication is a two-way process of
connecting to both living things. Also it is social interaction through messages and is a message understood.
NEWSCASTER 1 (Maria): That’s all back to you Kim.
ANCHOR (Kim): Thank you Maria.
ANCHOR (Kelvin): Communication is a continuous process which mainly involves three elements which are the sender,
message and receiver. For more information regarding the communication and its process here’s Carlos Wayne
Caringal, Carlos?
NEWSCASTER 2 (Carlos): Thank you Kelvin, the process of communication is which the sender will generates the
message where the sender is the one who starts the communication. Message is the idea or information generated by
the sender that will be encoded symbolically such as words or pictures before it is being conveyed. The medium of
communication includes telephone or email where encoded message is transmitted orally or in writing. Decoding is the
process of converting the symbols encoded by the sender. After decoding the message is received by the receiver that
who is last in the chain. Then there comes the feedback once the receiver confirms to the sender that he has received
the message. Lastly, noise is any obstruction that is caused by the sender, message or receiver during the process of
communication. That’s all back to you Kelvin.

can be used to control behavior and to regulate nature. Second is the Social Interaction that can form bond or intimacy
and allow individual to express their needs or give information. Third is the Motivation which can be used to encourage
or persuade others. Next is the Emotional Expression that can be used to facilitate peoples expression of their feelings.
Lastly, the Information that can be used to gain or give information to others. That’s all see again next time for another
