Naga College Foundation, Inc.

VENUE: NCF Auditorium, Naga City

BUDGET: Php. 11,500.00

This seminar is designed to inform the participants about the result of the

study conducted by the researchers and introduce them the recommendations to

enhance the level of awareness of criminology students of Naga College

Foundation regarding Anti-Smoking Law.

The research is entitled “AWARENESS OF STUDENTS IN ANTI- SMOKING

LAWS AND CONTROL STRATEGIES OF NAGA COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC.”,

made by proponents revealed that based on the findings, it was concluded that

the respondents are not fully aware in the Anti-Smoking Law.

I-DISSCUSSION

Based on the findings of the study, the Naga College Foundation, Inc.,

may conduct appropriate community representatives which are involved in

planning, implementing, and assessing programs and policies that can prevent

the students in smoking. The freshmen criminology students are obliged to

attend the webinar via zoom meeting to be more aware and be more

knowledgeable about the anti-smoking laws to enhance their knowledge in other

matter such as smoking in public places or near the campus. And also for the

criminology students to be more well informed about such Republic Act No. 9211

and Republic Act No. 10643 on what is contained herein this act. The Naga

College Foundation may have a comprehensive policy on cigarette smoking, and

is it implemented and be established inside the school premises.

II-OBJECTIVE:

This seminar strives to enhance the level of awareness of first year

criminology students in Naga College Foundation regarding the Anti-Smoking

Laws.

III-EXPECTED OUTPUT

At the end of the sebinar the participants are expected to be able:

1. Be more aware of anti-smoking law.

2. Awareness about the penalties and guidelines about anti-smoking law.

3. Awareness and attitude towards the stated prohibition of smoking in

public places.
