Ronald Cruz Alejandro: What is junk food?

Joel Huiracocha; These foods are low in the nutrients the body needs and high in fat,
sugar and salt.

Ronald Cruz Alejandro: why do children prefer fast food?

Joel Huiracocha: Because they are easier to get and they taste better to them.

Mateo Sivinta Quintanilla: Personally, I believe that junk food should be eliminated
from schools because it affects the normal physical and intellectual development of
children. This type of food has no nutritional value, and as we know children need to
have a diet rich in protein and carbohydrates to grow normally. In addition, these foods
become addictive because of the chemical components they contain. As for intellectual
development, a study conducted by Ohio University and published in Pediatric Clinics,
showed that junk food is related to worse academic results in the long term, so eating
poorly is related to having a worse intellectual development.

That's why I like the phrase that says we are what we eat.

The body is our greatest treasure and that is why we must take care of it.

Estiven Salazar: Support .

The sale of these unhealthy foods affects health through long-term diseases such as
obesity, hypertension, heart attacks, among others.

Melissa Mosquera Castro: As long as you eat the right amounts I consider junk foods
are not bad.

In conclusion, we believe that junk food should be banned because it has no nutritional
value.

I recommend that they be banned in schools and start selling other types of foods such
as fruit.
