In this report, critical analysis of two main issues of Human resource management i.e.

, Improving

diversity, equity & inclusion and Employee retention has been done. By diversity, it is meant that the

differences and similarities among the employees working in the same place. Diversity means the

individuals who belong to different backgrounds, have different ethnicity, religion, belief, have

different perspectives, etc., but work in same workplace. "Diversity is being invited to the party.

Inclusion is being asked to dance." —Vernā Myers Inclusion means empowering all workers and

acknowledging their abilities, make them feel respected, value them and treat them fairly despite

of being belonging to different culture. Equity means the fair treatment, equal opportunity,

progress for every individual in the workplace. In human resource DEI is a common term. This

report is based on the critical analysis of Diversity, equity and inclusion. DEI has significance as

the employees recruited from different backgrounds and treated with equal value and respect can

help an organization in progress. The report has described the theoretical and strategical

techniques to increase Diversity, Integration and equity, so that employees can grow both

personally and professionally.

The other part of the report critically analyzes the employee retention. The

employees are the most precious asset of any organization. It is hard to recruit the talented staff

and even harder to retain them. In the competitive marketplace, employee retention becomes the

difficult job. In spite of changing the employees, the organizations should amend their strategies

to retain their talented staff. In this report different strategies to retain the employees have been

discussed. The organizations spend good amount of budget in recruiting and training the

employees. So, when employees leave the job, organization suffers from a potential loss. This

report has also pointed out that there are also some drawbacks of the retention such as sometimes

non-performed employees are retained and they cause damage to the organization. This report

suggests that , as, employee retention is competitive edge of any organization, because the
physical resources can be imitated but human resources i.e., skills, capabilities, experience,

knowledge etc., cannot be imitated. The organizations should imply the strategies to keep their

employees because employees are the asset of organization, they can also be tapped and used

against the firm.

There are also different recommendations given in the report to minimize, prevent, manage and

resolve the issues relating to Diversity, equity, inclusion and employee retention.s
