RAWN Technologies Ltd. follows a scientific SDLC for executing the entire software development
project here at our facility. Following Graphical presentation shows the summary of steps which we
follow at our development Process

Initial Study:

An initial study would be carried out by the core team facilitated by the RAWN Technologies
and National Development Engineering Ltd. for:

 Understanding the organizational objectives in details.

 Expectations of National Development Engineering Ltd. in terms of service level and
quality.
 Understanding the exact business processes and operations in details.
Analysis:

This activity will be carried out to analyze the data gathered from the initial study.

Documentation of the functional specifications:

This activity will help in documenting the exact functional specifications in the form of
Statement of Work (SOW). A sign off will be obtained from the National Development
Engineering Ltd. after this to enable RAWN Technologies to proceed further on the
development of the Technical Architecture.
The analysis and the SOW phase will be done on the information and data collected during
initial study. The final SOW document would be presented to National Development
Engineering Ltd. and a final sign off obtained. The approved SOW would be the input for the
following phases:

Implementation and Development Phase

This phase will have the following activities:

 Identification of on-site Implementation components
 Identification of on-site site Implementation teams
 Finalizing the quality assurance policies
 Finalizing the reporting methodology between National Development Engineering Ltd.
project co-coordinator and RAWN Technologies project manager.
 Defining the roles and responsibilities of National Development Engineering Ltd. and

 Finalizing the deliverables from both ends
 Finalizing the time of the deliverables that are required.

Design sign off

The documented copy of the design will be sent to the National Development Engineering Ltd.
for the sign off. This sign off will be the actual development initiation trigger to RAWN
Technologies project implementation team. The final design document will be based on the
approved SOW.

Preparation for Testing

RAWN Technologies in consultation with National Development Engineering Ltd. will prepare a
test plan on the basis of the criteria specified in the implementation plan. While every testing
may be unique most test plans contain a common framework.

RAWN Technologies will provide this testing plan to National Development Engineering Ltd. for
approval. National Development Engineering Ltd. should provide the test data for the
successful testing execution.

During the testing process defects will be tracked, categorized and prioritized under the
heading- critical, severe, annoyance and cosmetic. The onsite team of RAWN Technologies will
clear these defects.

Release

After the tests the implemented system will be released to National Development Engineering
Ltd. for acceptance. A hand over note will be given by RAWN Technologies to National
Development Engineering Ltd. after release of new system signed by both parties during the
development Sign off. National Development Engineering Ltd. will then give an acceptance
note after the receipt and acceptance of each module.

Project Monitoring Process

Once the project is planned, the PM monitors the progress against the plan to identify and
resolve issues in a timely manner. For this, the PM gathers the information needed, analyzes it
and identifies deviations that are significant. Corrective actions are identified for all issues and
tracked to closure. Corrective actions may include re-planning and establishing new
agreements.

When the project is completed, the PM gathers the project related data and documents. The
PM prepares a Project Closure Report and hands over the project-related work-products,
documents, records, and the Project Closure Report and all project related documents to the
QAH.

The scope of this document is to list down activities for monitoring, manage and close a
project. In brief the scope is:

Review Process

For visibility into the overall operations of the organization, senior management performs
reviews for the operations of the various groups and resolves the issues identified.

The following steps are carried out in order to review various work products and project
progress in a project life cycle.

After the project initiation, a detailed Project Management Plan (PMP) will contain the
above four activities. In the PMP the details of the review process and the frequency of
review at various levels will be specified.
