Ques-1 : Tell me about your childhood and upbringing ?

I was born in Bhopal, MP. It is also known as the City of Lakes, and is famous for its natural views
and also as the city which was ruled by Raja Bhojpal. My father works in marketing department at
Asian Paints and my mother is a Govt. school teacher. Initially my schooling was done from Indore
then from Bhopal. I completed my schooling from HEMA Hr Sec School. Did my schooling in a very
disciplined environment. Other things considered my overall schooling was very happening,
dynamic, memorable and full of knowledge. Many good memories of Bhopal and Indore still remind
me of many things and will always be with me throughout my career and life.

Ques-2 : Tell me about your studies and academics ? What kind of student are you in the class ?

I was an above average student in my class throughout my academic career. I scored 7 CGPA in
class 10th and 7.4 CGPA in 12 th class. I scored the highest grades in class 11 th in entire commerce
stream which was 8.8 CGPA. I have done my graduation from Govt. MLB Girls College Bhopal and
scored 70% in B.Com. Currently I am an MBA aspirant from IBMR, IPS Academy Indore with
Finance Marketing Specializations. I have completed my Company Secretary Foundation from ICSI
Bhopal Chapter Office. I have prior 1 month working experience in Finance Department in
Bridgestone India Private Limited. Currently I am working as an intern at Vardhan Consulting
Engineers, learning Financial Modelling and Analysis. I have completed three certification courses
in Advance Excel, Financial Analyst and Financial Modelling. I have attended many life enriching
seminars and Soft Skills Programmes. I have good and friendly connections with my professors at
college. I am always on time with my projects, assignment and presentations. I am always an active

student when it comes to taking part in extra curricular activities and curricular activities that assists
in my overall growth and development. I have never faced any backlogs or failure of any kind in
academics and would like to keep my grades up and grow my overall skillset

Ques-3 : Why did you choose this field of study ? Any particular reason ?

Being a student who comes from Commerce background and opting for making a Career in
Finance, I believe there are many reasons for me to choose Finance. The finance sector is one of
those industries which will be present forever across all sectors, including business, commerce,
retail, banking and many more. Therefore, a career in finance will stay relevant and ever-evolving at
all times.
Employment in business and financial operations occupations is projected to grow 5% from 2019 to
2029—faster than the overall average for occupations.  The technological advances in this sector
will create new opportunities for finance professionals to outgrow and explore new horizons.
Therefore, it will be quite beneficial for the candidates to venture into this shifting industry as they
will be able to join an exciting financial revolution. Huge career-growth opportunities: The finance
job roles are constantly evolving and changing. Therefore, the professionals of this field have high
chances of career development in a short period as they can always keep shifting to new roles
based on their strengths and interests. A challenging career path: Though the finance sector
is ever-evolving, it has its fair share of challenges as well. The most significant blow it went through
recently was the Covid-19 phase. This crisis shook the entire country in unpredictable ways and
created new challenges for the finance professionals. These professionals had to tackle the
uncertain issues in a new way and re-engage the customers with contemporary ways. Thus,
enabling these professionals to constantly refine their strengths, increase their adaptability, and
boost their work ethic.

Ques-4 : What are the professional / corporate / vocational training or visits you did during your
degree ?
  “THE WORLD IS A BOOK, AND THOSE WHO DO NOT TRAVEL, READ ONLY A PAGE” As it
is rightly said, “Travelling is a part of education.” An excursion is not just a pleasure trip; it enhances
the knowledge of the students beyond the four walls of classroom. To provide such an enriching
experiences to students. Students of MBA from IBMR, IPS Academy 2 nd Semester Visited Tata
international limited Dewas on 4th October 2019.The students were introduced to the process of
hide making processing of leather and the details were explained by the plant in charge from the
procurement to the final product. The students were expose to the concept of ordering, and live
exposure to production process. The students were briefed about the quality of the leather, what
purpose it is used, cutting and stitching etc.
After the visit the students also visited the factory outlet to know the finished products like leather
bags, jackets, shoes, etc. The students also had an interaction with the store manager and related
concept in branding and Visual merchandising.
This experience of the industry visit has enlightened the students from production process to
retailing. The students also had a wonderful shopping experience at the store.

Another opportunity that I got to industry visit was at Bridgestone India Private Limited who
manufactures tyres at the Kheda Plant Pithampur, Indore. The entire process of learning and
gazing into the operations and production of the tyre manufacturing was very mesmerizing and full
of knowledge.

 At the time of returned journey, students not only carried back life time experiences with them but
also memories of new bonds of friendship which they will cherish forever.
