This is not easy to set up standard range for use at all warehouse level where has different storage items
(medicine, voluminous items like syringe, condom & water for injection, lab reagent). We concern to use
as general instruction for all items.
According to Pharmacopeia, “the stability of a drug dosage form can be influenced by environmental
conditions of storage (temperature, light, air and humidity). Controlled room temperature delineates the
allowable tolerance in storage circumstances at any location in supply chain. The common international
guideline for long-term stability specifies 25±2° at 60±5% relative humidity.” Ref: “USP29”
As per WHO Good Storage Practice Guideline, “Do not store over 30°C” means to keep the product
between +2 to +30°C and “Do not store over 25°C” means to keep the product between +2 to +25°C as
defined storage instructions. Ref: “WHO Guide to good storage practices for pharmaceuticals”.
And HIV Rapid Test Kits do not require cold chain storage (2-8°C), so please keep in warehouse room
with regular temperature monitoring.
