We’re Going on a Picnic:

This whole group memory game incorporates alphabetical order
and listening skills.

Students will…
● Sit in a circle.
● The first student starts by saying the prompt, “We’re
going on a picnic and I’m bringing…” They then say a
food that starts with the letter ‘a’ (eg: apple).
● The next student repeats the prompt, “We’re going on a
picnic and I’m bringing an apple…”, then they say
a food that starts with a ‘b’ (eg. banana).
● This continues in alphabetical order around the
circle until someone forgets the list or you finish the
alphabet.
