The graph below shows the number of books read by men and women at Burnaby Public Library from 2011 to
2014.

The line chart gives data about Burnaby Public Library somewhere in the range of 2011 and 2014. It shows
the number of library books individuals read over this four-year time frame.
It is clear that the number of books read by men showed a upward trend. Despite the fact that women read a
larger number of books than men in 2011, in 2014, reading performance of women was below the level of men.
As we have seen from the line graph, the quantity of books read by men increased consistently somewhere in
the range of 2011 and 2012, from around 3000 to 4000. From that point onward, the number rose drastically
to reach a peak of about 14000 books in 2014.
In 2011, woman began with reading more books than men, but their numbers changed throughout time. In the
next 2 years, the quantity of books increased gradually by 5000, from 5000 to 8000 in 2012 and increased to
10000 in 2013. Nevertheless, in the next 1 year, their numbers dropped by 8000.
