The Water Protest

          It was supposed to be a rainy and snowy day as the weather forecast predicted. People

were preparing their skiing equipment and farmers were celebrating the start of winter season for

the good of their crops. But no one was expecting a sudden change to happen. It was a protest

start of the winter season, which made all the water sources cut water on human beings.

          People were surprised by the decision taken by the water sources. Clouds closed the doors
for rain and snow. Rivers, seas, springs and every water source carried their water luggage and

migrated to a different place where someone can value their sacrifice. Even though water is well-

known to be the source of life on Earth, but water sources ended up finding themselves alone in

the dark sky. Kids were sad since they wanted to play with snow and farmers were upset because

they needed water for irrigation. The water sources protest went on for days, but people needed

water for their daily chores. After communicating with water sources, people knew that water

sources were angry from the fact that people are overusing water sources and wasting water

without realizing that they will lead to scarcity of water. This scarcity will for sure lead to drying

lakes, rivers and seas. In addition to droughts that will reach every single part of the world. So,

people should be ready to similar forever days of drought. People realized the fear they are

facing, if water sources remained protesting. People would die since water is the main source of

life and is used in all the needs of humans including food making, cleaning, drinking and many

other basic needs of humanity.

          As water illustrates: “I’ve waited my whole life to be loved and appreciated by someone,

to be seen for what’s on my inside. To be held softly and gently in arms that aren’t so weak that

they will drop my heart and break it. To be appreciated for what I give and to receive care as
much as I provide it. I’ve waited my whole life for someone who understands not just my pain,

but the consequences of that pain, the tiny triggers and the moments of darkness. The emotional

turmoil when the sentence ‘I’m not okay, I’m fading’ starts thundering at the back of my mind

and deep in my heart”. It is hard when you experience nothing but pain from those you’ve loved

your entire life. It is difficult not to find someone to lean on at the end of the day after all the

positive ideas you had about giving with no return. It is scary to find out that you’re never seen

as beautiful and pure as enough.

          People started figuring out ways to ease the anger of water sources. Water only needed to

be loved and appreciated. Its not hard on human beings to take care of something that really gave

them without return. People promised water sources to effectively conserve water.

          Finally, water sources stopped their protest after several negotiations and warned humans

that they will return to protests and even for longer times, if they didn't conserve water sources.

God created water sources from lots of love in way they cannot hurt ones in need for them to live

happily, but the only thing they need is to feel loved in return and to appreciate the fact that they

are willing to give all they have for free.
