INTERCESSORY PRAYERS
Priest: Brothers and sisters, let us bring our prayers
to the Lord of compassion and love.
1. We pray for the Holy Church, that her work may
let people understand that through the Cross of Christ,
one reaches the true spiritual freedom. Lord, hear us:
Lord, graciously hear us.
2. We pray for Pope Francis and all the clergy, that
they may be able to spread the Love and the Peace of
Christ throughout the world. Lord, hear us: Lord,
graciously hear us.
3. We pray for those who have no hope in their life
and in the future, that the Lord will touch them
through the work of His people. Lord, hear us:
Lord, graciously hear us.
4. We pray for those who are suffering because of
family and personal problems, that they may have
the strength to forgive as Jesus forgives us. Lord,
hear us: Lord, graciously hear us.
5. We pray for countries facing wars and crisis, that
in their suffering they may find comfort and libera-
tion through the Cross of Christ. Lord, hear us:
Lord, graciously hear us.
6. We pray for each one of us that, by dividing the
Bread of Life among us, we may learn to share our
earthly possessions with our brothers and sisters.

7. In the silence of our hearts, let us pray for our
personal intentions. (Silence). Lord, hear us: Lord,
graciously hear us.
Priest: Heavenly Father, in your great love and
compassion you sent your Son Jesus Christ to pro-
claim forgiveness of sins to all who repent and be-
lieve in you; we ask you to hear the prayers that we
offer in the power of the Holy Spirit through the

Pilgrimage to Banneux and Lourdes
The Banneux N.D. Organization for the Asian Pil-

6. Young couples and family meeting
The couple and family meetings take place every
SECOND Sunday of the month after the mass.
The meeting typically starts with a potluck lunch
followed by the topic discussion guided by Fr.

7. Pastoral Care Calendar
Baptism preparation course 2016:
 April 5 and 19

Marriage preparation course 2016:
 May 3 and 24
 November 22 and 29
In all instances, the preparation courses take place in
the room across the sacristy at 19:30.

8. First Holy Communion
We are inviting children above the age of seven (7)
to prepare for their first Holy Communion. Please
contact team@englishmassutrecht.nl to register.
9. Children’s Catechism
Children’s catechism is organized every 3rd Sunday
of the month. Children will go to catechism for
around 30 minutes during Mass. One of our parish-
ioners will coordinate the meeting, giving the children
the possibility to draw and colour and telling them
bible stories.

10. Bible study/prayer meeting
The bible study and prayer meeting take place altern-
ately every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 19:45.
God speaks to us in many ways and especially
through His Word, let's come together in His name
and listen to Him. We will meet at the pastoral centre
(entrance through the backside of the church). For

11. Rosary prayer
Every first Sunday of the month we gather for a ros-
ary prayer in the chapel of St. Mary after the mass at
13:45.
