Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are
ravening wolves.”

struggles to remain open. He is lying in a pool of his own blood. His eyes shut. CUT TO.
● A groggy Michael is woken up by a phone call from Sanusi who has bad news. Their money
launderer, Don Saint has just been arrested by the Interpol. Michael takes control of the
situation by setting “operation lockdown” in motion and sending a coded message to the rest of

that "its too late", just then, Charles's phone rings. Charles's eyes widens as Michael tells him the
news, Don Saint has been arrested. Charles looks at the tortured man in anger and offloads a
few rounds of bullets in his skull.
● Michael, Adesua and Sanusi begin the frantic process of destroying any incriminating evidence
that can tie them to Don Saint, harddrives, documents, pictures… everything.
● Charles and his crew toss a body wrapped in clothes over the bridge when Michael’s message
enters: “activate operation lockdown”.

It’s the signal.
● A meeting is held in Charles's night club "Unknown Pleasures", Michael briefs the gang and let's
them know that Don Saint's arrest leaves them with a big problem. The billion dollar deal they've
been working on is now at risk unless they can prove to their "partners" that they have a way to
launder a billion dollars. Michael suggests that while they look for a solution, members of the
gang should keep a low profile. Adesua seconds Michael’s suggestion before Charles can
disagree. Midway through, MIchael’s mum messages about the church fund…that they are
desperately looking for funds. A vote is held and Michael wins, 4 votes to one. Charles being the

heads to his old bedroom and is surprised to see that it's still the same.
● The next morning, Michael’s mother asks him to accompany her to church. Michael agrees.
Michael is shocked at the state of the church he grew up in. The once magnificent TEMPLE OF
CHRIST MINISTRIES is now a run down, deserted church. The general overseer calls on the
handful of attendees to donate to something called Caesar’s tithe. The G.O explains that the
church might soon be shut down if they can't pay off the debt they owe the government, so it’s
the duty of the body of Christ to save the church from closure.
● After service, Michael’s mother introduces Michael to the G.O and Senior Pastor Elijah. The aging
general overseer recognizes Michael as the young brilliant bible scholar that used to recite bible
verses when he was a kid. Pastor Elijah, excuses the G.O and tells him that his attention is
needed elsewhere.
● Michael's mother goes to join other women at the altar and kneels down to pray.
● Michael bumps into a childhood friend and crush, Faith. They reminisce for a bit. Faith is
surprised to see Michael back at the church after all these years, even though they always joked
about him becoming a pastor when they were younger. Their conversation is interrupted when
Faith gets a phone call from her office. Michael’s mother returns and they go home.
● Michael lays down at night and ponders. His eyes widen as he begins to map out his idea. A call
from Adesua interrupts his thoughts. Adesua tells him that Tunde is disobeying the order and is
busy turning up at a club.
● Michael and Adesua arrive at the club and see Tunde popping bottles in the middle of seven
strippers. Michael drags Tunde out of the club and warns him to get himself together or kiss
their friendship goodbye. Tunde apologizes and promises to fall in line.
● After dropping Tunde at home, Michael and Adesua share a ride back to Michael’s house. He
tells her of his idea to “buy" the church. Adesua sees the possibilities and commends Michael’s
genius. They make out and have sex in the car.

Michael: I think I’ve got it

Adesua: What?
Michael: To move the pile
Adesua looks at Michael, expectant. Michael moves to her and whispers in her ears. Her eyes
grow rounder as he speaks.
Adesua: No way.
Michael: Yes.
Adesua (screaming): No way!
Michael: Yes way…
Adesua: Come here, you brilliant, sexy, holy devil…

● The next morning, Michael shows up at the church. He interrupts a meeting between the G.O
and the pastors, Michael is granted a private audience by the G.O. Michael proposes to pay off
the church’s debt in exchange for a role as a pastor. The G.O resists at first but Michael wears
him down. The G.O agrees. Michael blackmails him straight up, then proposes his solution?
● Michael calls a meeting with his syndicate to tell them the news, Adesua loves the idea and as
always, she backs Michael. Sanusi (the accountant) agrees that it is a viable plan and he has
ideas on how to make this work. Charles and Tunde have no choice but to fall in line.
● After the meeting, Michael pulls Charles aside and asks about the Efcc agent on their tail. Charles
tells him that the matter has been handled.
● A group of fishermen stand around a dead body recently pulled from the sea. The path is cleared
as police men arrive. Faith emerges with an EFCC jacket on, she is horrified to see her partner’s
dead body.
102: Anointed.

Job 1:6 “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and
Satan came also among them.”

● A Thanksgiving service is being held in the church as a montage shows the offering basket
circulating amongst the congregation while truck pulls up behind the church and bags of Ghana
must go bags are offloaded and moved into the same room as the offering bags.
● The G.O gives a sermon and tells the congregation that God has come to their aid. Michael and
his mother are also in attendance and so is Adesua and Charles. The G.O announces that he will
be ordaining a new pastor, according to the ministry of the holy ghost. He calls Michael forward
and the entire church falls silent including the elders of the church. There’s a lull as Michael
seems to be hesitating, and his mother is looking in his direction, encouraging him. Michael
steps forward and is anointed in front of the church. Michael’s mother can’t believe her eyes and
goes out to hug her son and say “Praiiiiiiiseee the lord”. Adesua and Charles smile as their plot
thickens.
● Faith attends the burial of her partner. At the burial, her superiors brief her that they don’t have
the resources to continue the investigation of her partner who was working on or the cause of
his death. Faith is infuriated by this and storms off.
● Faith gets home and listens to the last voice note her partner sent to her. The words “This guy
I’m tracking is Bloody, his syndicate is led by a Shadow” is repeated over and over again.
● Michael leads a sermon on a Sunday morning, His mother looks on in pride. He is quickly
becoming a crowd favorite.
● After service one Sunday, Faith knocks Michael’s door. She enters his office and is amazed by his
quick ascension. It doesn’t take her long to break down and tell Michael about the loss of her
partner and how it has affected her life. Michael is shocked to find out that his childhood friend
now works for the Efcc but he doesn’t show it. He consoles her and reassures her that he is
always around if she needs a listening ear.
● Michael briefs the team about Faith, Charles suggests getting rid of her before she catches onto
them. Michael disagrees and recommends using his relationship with her to find out more about
the Efcc. Michael runs the syndicate through his plan to transform the church into a money
laundering machine by opening small businesses, a number of orphanages, universities, a new
ultramodern auditorium for the church. But to get this done, he will need more allies in the
leadership. He recommends that Adesua and Tunde enroll in bible school immediately. Charles
can't join because of his reputation as the owner of a nightclub.
● Adesua and Tunde attend several Sunday school services. Montage showing them involved in the
church.
● The leadership of the church gathered at a meeting. Michael proposes an expansion of the
church's outreach program and the appointment of more youth pastors. The elders led by Pastor
Elijah disagrees with Michael’s idea and shuts him down. Michael says that this lack of vision is
what led the church to ruin in the past and if the church fails to evolve, they will die. Pastor Elijah
is livid but Michael doesn't back down. The argument gets so loud that the G.O suffers a stroke
while trying to quiet the room down and is promptly rushed to the hospital.
● Realizing that he will need more power in the church hierarchy if his plans were ever going to see
the light of day, Michael visits the G.O at the hospital. He threatens to reveal how the church got
its funding if the G.O doesn’t step down and appoints him as his successor. The G.O stares him
down and tells Michael that Elijah is the natural successor and that’s that, and if he exposes the
church, the church will expose him as well and Michael will be forced to explain how he got the
money in the first place. This meeting ends in a standoff with both men staring each other down.
● On his way out of the hospital, Michael runs into a nurse and a little girl in a wheelchair. The little
girl recognizes Michael and holds on to his leg. The nurse apologizes for her daughter's actions.
Michael tells her not to worry and couches to face the little girl. The little girl tells him that she
recognizes him as the pastor newly ordained by the G.O and begs him to heal her. Michael is
stunned and struggles to find the words for the first time, he looks up at the crying nurse.
Michael smiles and tells the girl that the next time he sees her, she will be on her two feet and
they will go for a long walk together. They pinky swear and the nurse wheels the girl away.
● At the next meeting of the syndicate, Charles suggests killing the G.O and having Michael take his
place. Michael says church power can’t just be taken. It needs anointing not violence. Adesua
interjects and tells the team that a different form of violence is needed and if Michael wants
power, he is going to have to take it with his bare hands.
● Church morning. Michael walks past GO’s office - GO is in a hush hush meeting with Elijah, who
gives Michael a suspicious stare as he passes. Off Michael, Adesuwa and Tunde are speaking to
members of the chair and youth, sharing care packages. Upon seeing Michael, they thank him
profusely. Michael has given them cash gifts and a bus.
● Upon this return to the pulpit, the G.O announces his plan to step down because of his health,
but the Lord is not leaving his sheep without a shepherd. He is looking in the direction of Elijah.
Michael strikes fast like a man possessed by God. He says the lord visited him last night and told
him to lead his sheep, Michael walks towards the stunned G.O and kneels in front of him with
the whole church watching… and cheering, led by the youth and choir. The elders watch in
horror, Adesua and co join the congregation in cheering. Unable to go against the crowd, the G.O
lays his hands on Michael and the congregation erupts in euphoria.

GO: Many of you have heard that I intend to step down and this human body can no longer carry
the work as it used to. This is true. Even the Lord took Moses, when it was his time. But do not
be afraid! Lord is not leaving his people without a shepherd. After Moses, the Lord anointed
Joshua.
Elijah clasps his hands and boys his head in prayer. GO looks in Michael’s direction, a stare down,
then turns his gaze in Elijah’s direction
GO: And today, the Lord has chosen his Joshua…
CRASH!!! Michel’s personal microphone falls loudly on the pulpit and makes the loud static
sound. Everyone’s attention is turned from the GO to his direction. He is on his knees, eyes
closed. He opens his eyes and solemnly picks up the microphone.
Michael: Just as I aaaam, without one please, but thaaaaat thy blooood, was sheed for me…
Everyone is transfixed by Michael’s singing. Tunde signal to the choir leader who picks up her
microphone and backs up Micheal. She motions the choir to stand up and join. The rest of the
church join the chair in standing. It’s a solemn moment. As Michael sings, there are tears in his
eyes, as he walks towards the rostrum where GO is standing. Elijah is shocked by can do nothing.
GO’s eyes move between him and Michael. He is transfixed by Michael. As Michael reaches the
roastrum, he kneels and holds GO’s legs. The choir and youth erupt in applause and the rest of
the church join in. A staring standoff, Michael, backing the church, gives the GO a deadly stare.
The GO is afraid, as his eyes roam the thronging crowd. He takes one last look at Elijah, before
placing his hands on Michael. The church is shouting and screaming in one voice.

● A coronation ceremony is held at the church, the capacity of the church is at its highest. Michael
is declared the acting General Overseer of the church, his mother beams with pride, the
syndicate smiles in anticipation, the church leadership looks on in fear and the congregation,
including Faith, look at Michael with adoration.

103: Kingdom of Heaven.

Matthew 11:12 “ And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth
violence, and the violent take it by force.”

● Michael sits at the head of a meeting with the church leadership. Pastor Elijah, tells him that the
elders are here to help him transition into the difficult role of G.O. Michael cuts Elijah short and
tells him that things will be different under his reign. Michael ordains Adesua and Tunde as new
pastors in the church. He appoints Sanusi as the new chief accountant of the church. The elders
disagree but are vetoed by Michael. Pastor Elijah is enraged and tells Michael that Michael was
appointed by man and not God and will be removed from his post if he disrespects the house of
God.
● The syndicate are gathered at their base, they discuss the Pastor Elijah problem. Charles suggests
getting rid of the pastor, Adesua objects and tells him that Michael needs to win the hearts and
minds of the elders and the best way to do so is by proving to them that he was chosen by God.
He would have to do what none of the other pastors has ever done before - perform fake
miracles in order to legitimize his post. The syndicate agrees to Adesua’s idea. Michael says he
already has a plan, and Tunde can finally put his arts degree to good use.
● Tunde is recruiting actors. Tunde, Michael and Adesua oversee the lighting setup in church, while
the legs of the chairs are being slightly adjusted.
● Faith investigates her partner murder on her own. She flips hopelessly through files when her
supervisor summons her to his office. Faith’s supervisor tells her that DON SAINT, the money
launderer arrested in Dubai has finally given two names to interpol “Bloody and Shadow”. Faith
is tasked with uncovering their identities. Back at her desk, she replays the names in her brain
and suddenly her eyes light up. She picks up her phone and plays the last message her partner
sent to her - “This guy I’ve gotten close to Bloody, this syndicate is led by a Shadow”. Whoever
“Bloody and Shadow” are, they are responsible for her partner’s death.
● Michael is in a new outfit, designed to embellish his presence. He’s practiscing his lines in front
of a mirror. He walks out and on to the pulpit, mic in hand.

Michael: I and all the lord has given me, we are made for signs and wonders!!!!
Michael stretches his hands and the firs two rows fall backwards. The sawed chair legs help
spread the falling. Michael stretches another hand and more people fall as he works himself into
a high, pointing here and there and healing.

Behind the scenes, Tunde is working the fans and lights to embellish the atmosphere. Smoke and
music. It’s a huge experience.

● Montage shows Michael performing miracles and different people given testimonies, the same
people queue up and are paid off by Sanusi and Charles. The elders look in astonishment as
Michael heals the sick. Michael’s popularity soars.
● Adesua and Tunde take turns leading Sunday sermons. Tunde can be seen making eye contact
with one of the members of the choir. Tunde has sex with various chior members. Adesua is also
becoming a favorite of the congregation.
● Charles holds court with politicians and drug barons alike and agrees to help them launder
money. This is where we bring back our big bad.
● Michael commissions several small businesses and a couple of orphanages in the church’s name,
he also unveils plans to build a 50,000 capacity new mega-church as well as a university and a
small microfinance bank.
● Pastor Elijah calls a private meeting with the elders and expresses his worries about the church’s
finances and change of doctrine, the elders point to the undeniable growth of the church and
popularity of the church since Michael ascension to the throne. There is no denying that this
man was chosen by God to lead them. Pastor Elijah surrenders. A secret meeting.
● Faith shares her discovery with Michael during one of their counseling sessions. She believes
God is leading her to the people that killed her partner. Adesua enters the office and sees
Michael and Faith holding hands. Faith excuses herself and leaves. Adesua worries that Michael
is getting too close to Faith and that he is playing a risky game. Michael reveals the information
he just got from Faith and tells Adesua not to worry. Adesua reminds Michael that if Charles
found out that Adesua knows about his code name, he would have her killed (they call him
Bloody for a reason). Michael tells her to let him worry about Charles. He holds Adesua in his
arms and promises to make it up to her.
● Tunde is in bed with one of the church members, she tells him that she is pregnant for him while
he does a line of coke. Tunde is startled by this claim. He tells her to get rid of the baby. She
refuses, tells him she is having the baby. She picks up her bag to leave, Tunde stands in her way,
she tries to force her way through but pulls her back with enough force to send her crashing
through the glass table in the room. As she bleeds out, Tunde panics and calls Michael.
● Michael is preparing a sermon when he gets a call from Tunde. Michael is shocked to hear the
news.

104: Road to Damascus

Acts 9:3 “And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a
light from heaven”
● We wanted to bring in the big bad’s big deal here. They’re on top of the world. Then Tunde.
Michael is on the phone with Charles, he tells him about Tunde's situation before jumping into
one of his cars and speeding off. Michael speeds on the night road and gets to a traffic light. He
stops and waits impatiently, the light seems to be taking forever to change. Pressed for time,
Michael jumps the light and suddenly… CRASH. A fuel tanker sends his car tumbling. Michael’s
car is a wreck and he doesn’t seem to be breathing.
● Charles arrives at Tunde's place, he sees the dead body on the ground. Together they wrap the
body in bed sheets and carry her to Charles’s car. Charles dails Michael’s number but it doesn’t
go through.
● Charles and Tunde drive towards the outskirts of Lagos when they are stopped at a police
checkpoint, the policemen see the body in the trunk but are quickly killed off by Charles. Tunde
is beyond terrified. Charles and Tunde dig a grave in the nearby forest and bury the girl.
● The next day. Adesua slaps Tunde after getting the brief from Charles. No one has heard from
Michael. Sanusi asks if Faith had discovered Michael’s real identity and has arrested him. Just
then, Adesua’s phone rings.
● Adesua runs to the hospital and finds Michael’s mother, Faith and the church leadership
gathered around his bed. Tubes run through his body as the women by his side weep. The doctor
briefs everyone that Michael is barely alive and is currently in a coma. A nurse named Deborah
changes Michael's drip as the doctor speaks.
● Adesua briefs the team on Michael’s situation. Charles is worried that the operation is at risk.
Adesua tells him not to worry, as long as she, Tunde and Sanusi remain in their positions,
everything will be fine.
● Pastor Elijah breaks the news to the congregation, and tells them that while Michael is in the
hospital, he would be assuming Michael’s role. After the sermon, an usher tells Adesua and
Tunde that Elijah would like to see both of them in his office.
● The leadership of the church are gathered in Elijah’s office, Adesua and Tunde join them. An
elderly couple sit in the middle. The elderly couple claim that Tunde impregnated their daughter
and now she is missing. Tunde denies ever knowing or meeting the girl in question. The church
decides to suspend Tunde while they investigate the claims of the parents.
● At the hospital, Charles pays Michael a visit, Charles calls Michael "Shadow" just as Faith walks
in. They have a weird exchange, Michael's mother arrives and sees Charles, yells at him and tells
him to leave her son alone. Charles nods and leaves. Faith looks at Charles and Michael
suspiciously.
● Now sitting by Michael's side, Faith asks Michael's mother why she shouted at Charles, Michael's
mother tells her he was one of the bad friends Michael used to hang around in university and
she thanks God for saving her son from such negative influence.
● Later that night, Deborah, the nurse at the hospital- enters Michael’s room. She drops to her
knees and prays that the man of God heals her daughter who is battling stage 4 stomach cancer.
● Charles is livid at Tunde’s suspension and tells the team that they have to get rid of Pastor Elijah
before he ruins their business, Adesua objects. Charles calls for a vote but it’s a tie. Sanusi sides
with Adesua against Charles and Tunde. Adesua says that it’s advisable for her to strengthen her
position in the church before they get rid of Elijah.
● Sanusi arrives at church and is barred from entering his office, a letter of termination is handed
to him, signed by Elijah.
● Over the next weeks, Adesua is everywhere, at every vigil, community outreach and service.
● The leadership gathers to discuss the investigation into Tunde’s misgivings. More women have
emerged and admitted to having relations with Pastor Tunde. Elijah is livid, fully aware of what
this will do to the public image of the church if it gets out, he bends to the wishes of the elders
and covers up the investigation. Adesua sees an opening. She would have to sacrifice Tunde if
she wants to get rid of Elijah.
● Deborah is by Michael’s bedside again. She says another prayer, more watery than before. She
leaves his room and goes to the cancer ward where her daughter sleeps and continues weeping.
● Elijah is preparing a sermon when his phone rings. The voice on the other end tells him to switch
on the TV. Elijah is shocked to see the elderly couple on tv. They accuse the church of covering up
the disappearance of their daughter. Adesua is also on TV. She accuses the church under the
leadership of Elijah of covering up allegations of sexual misconduct by a suspended pastor Tunde
and as the only woman in the hierarchy she cannot stay quiet.
● Under pressure, Elijah steps down and in a bid to rehabilitate their image, Adesua is appointed
as acting general overseer.
● Deborah carries a small tray of food into the cancer ward. She drops the tray as her eyes light up.
Michael is standing next to her sleeping daughter. He turns around and makes eye contact with
her before collapsing to the ground.

105: Resurrection

Matthew 27:53 “...And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and
appeared unto many.”

● Michael sits quietly on his bed. Deborah stands next to him. The doctor tells Michael that he has
a small tumor in his brain and would need an operation as soon as possible. Michael tells him
that won’t be necessary and asks the doctor not to disclose this information with anybody. Just
then, Adesua enters the room followed by Michael’s mother and some elders from the church.
● Tunde snorts a line of coke and swig from a whiskey bottle. Tunde is a drugged out mess. He
destroys furniture and smashes everything in sight as he descends into madness. He starts
seeing the ghost of the girl he murdered in the same room with him. Tunde falls to his knees and
starts begging for forgiveness.
● Faith declines a call from her supervisors as she helps Michael's mother around the house. She
goes to the room and finds the old woman crying as she flips through a photo album of
Michael's pictures. Faith consoles her but is shocked to see an old university picture of Michael,
Adesua, Charles, Tunde, Sanusi and DON SAINT. Faith takes out the picture and flips it, behind
the picture are words written in black ink. Shadow, Light, Bloody, Funny, Money and DON SAINT.
Faith's jaw drops. Impossible.
● News of Michael’s recovery travels through the media. A huge Thanksgiving service is held in
Michael’s honor. Everyone is in attendance. Michael is wheeled onto the pulpit. He stands up
with the aid of crutches. He doesn’t utter a word for minutes. Suddenly, tears flow from his eyes
and he screams “I have seen God!” twenty times. Adesua is shocked to see this.
● Michael is alone in his office, he is deep in prayers, well more like a conversation with God.
When Adesua knocks on the door. She questions Michael about his readiness to lead
immediately after such an accident. She explained what happened to Tunde and how she had to
do what was necessary to secure the syndicate's interest. Michael doesn’t utter a word. Instead
he turns away and continues praying.
● Adesua meets up with Charles and Sanusi and expresses concerns about Michael. Charles
doesn’t share her concern, he suggests giving Michael time and believes Michael is just playing
everybody and would soon clue the team in on his plan.
● Michael shows up at Tunde's house. Tunde is a total mess and Michael shows him compassion
and tells him that the time has come to atone for his sins and he is sorry for introducing him into
a life of crime. Tunde breaks down in the arms of his childhood friend.
● Pastor Elijah gets a visit from Michael and Tunde, Michael tells Elijah that he needs him back in
the church and invites him to the inaugural service of the new mega-church. Michael says that
he is planning to clean the church of all manners of corruption. Elijah doesn’t believe him at first
but Michael tells Elijah that he will be giving a full confession on the pulpit- at the inaugural
service, in front of 50,000 . Elijah is impressed but points at his own lack of credibility, since he
tried to cover up Tunde’s sins. Michael tells Elijah that everyone has fallen short of God's grace
and this is an opportunity to redeem themselves.

● Michael calls for a meeting of the syndicate and tells them that the church is closed for business
and he would like to quit. Sanusi asks for a reason behind his decision and Michael replies
"because I have seen God". This doesn't make sense to Charles or Adesua or anybody. Charles
tells Michael to stop messing around because he just closed a deal to launder 2 billion naira for
some very dangerous people. Michael tells him to try another route, infuriated Charles points a
gun at Michael and dares him to repeat those words. Michael doesn't repeat his words but
signals to Tunde to wheel him away.

● The next Sunday, Michael's nurse Deborah gives a testimony, her daughter has been healed by
the man of God and is in full remission. The crowd cheers. Adesua is confused, Deborah isn't one
of their paid actors, could this be true?

● Deborah enters Michael's office with her daughter and tells him that she has quit her job and is
willing to dedicate her life to serving Michael and the church. Michael declines her offer and tells
her that her time to serve God will come. Michael looks at Deborah's daughter and wheels the
little girl out of his office.

● Michael arrives at the church garden and offers the little girl his hand, she takes it and together
they go for a walk in the garden. Deborah and Adesua watch Michael and the little girl.

● Adesua, Charles and Sanusi meet up. Charles is worried by what he just heard. How did Michael
perform an actual miracle? Sanusi expresses concerns that Michael is yet to reappoint him as the
chief accountant. Adesua says that it is time to see Michael as a threat and take the necessary
steps to remove him.

● Michael arrives home from church and finds Faith waiting for him. She tells him that he is under
arrest for the murder of her partner. Michael is confused and asks her what this is about. Faith
points her gun at him and calls him by his code name… Shadow. This needs to have more
violence. The shoots at him over and over, and breaks door to get to him.
106: Revelations

1 Chronicles 16:22 "Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm."

● Faith's gun is pressed against Michael's head. She expresses how heartbroken she was to find
out that her childhood friend and a man she loved was a murderer and a fraud. Michael tries to
explain but the sound of gunfire from outside cuts them short.
● Armed men led by Charles, take out Michael's private security and storm his house only to find it
vacant. Charles hears a car speeding away as his men stationed outside riddle it with bullets.
● Faith and Michael drive off in Faith's car. Faith keeps her gun on him as he drives away. Michael
tells her the history of the syndicate as they drive to her house.
● At Faith's house Michael goes into further details and explains that the syndicate were trying to
get rid of him because he wants to stop the operation. Faith asks him why, Michael's response is
simple, he saw God when he was comatose. God came to him and told him to change his ways
because his time on earth was limited. He tells Faith that he plans to expose everything about
the syndicate the following Sunday. Faith doesn't believe a word from and proceeds to handcuff
him.
● Charles is livid, he doesn't understand how Michael knew they were coming. Adesua isn't happy
either, no one knows where Michael is. Sanusi suggests cutting their losses and going
underground while they wait and see what Michael does. One of Charles's men drags Tunde into
the room. They have clearly gone to town on his face as blood drools from his busted lips. He has
no clue where Michael went.
● Faith arrives at work the next day. Her supervisors call her in to discuss her findings. Faith
hesitates before telling them that she doesn't have a lead on the case. Disappointed, her
supervisors take her off the case and hand it over to Saheed Lukman, a blunt career investigator.
Faith returns to her desk unable to believe what just happened. Did she just lie to her bosses
because of Michael?
● Charles tortures Tunde for information, Tunde finally talks and says that he and Michael paid
pastor Elijah a visit and he believes Michael has something big planned for Sunday. Tunde
continues and says that Michael will cleanse all the church of all their sins and lead them to
righteousness, Tunde breaks into a painful maniacal laugh. After hearing enough, Charles takes a
gun and puts two bullets in Tunde's brain.
● Faith arrives home and frees Michael from the handcuffs. She breaks down in tears as she
narrates what just happened at her office. She tells Michael that she doesn't know if she is losing
her mind or not but she chose him over the truth and she needs to know why. Why did his
syndicate kill her partner? Michael sighs and explains and we see this as a flashback. The
syndicate didn't know that Faith's partner was an undercover Efcc agent. All they knew was he
was Charles's boyfriend and Charles was madly in love with him. One day, Tunde caught him
recording a conversation between Charles and Michael. Tunde raised the alarm but it was too
late, Faith's partner had sent out the recording which carried the name of DON SAINT, the
syndicate's money launderer. That led to the launderer's arrest. Feeling betrayed, Charles took it
upon himself to execute the man he loved. The flashback ends.
● Charles and Adesua stand over the grave as his men bury Tunde's body. Adesua tells Charles that
everything is all about survival and Michael is now a threat to theirs. They will have to take
Michael out at the inaugural service of the new mega-church, in the presence of the entire
congregation.
● Faith is shocked to hear everything Michael just told her. She asks him what he plans to do.
Michael tells her that God has spoken, it is time to reveal everything to the world. Even at the
cost of his life.
● Sunday morning. Something special is in the air. A crowd of 50,000 fill the new mage-church. The
