The symbol of the black shield with a
gold star in it reflects the first principle of
Pancasila, namely "Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa".

The symbol of the GOLD STAR can

be interpreted as a light. The meaning of light
is like God who is a light for every human
being.
The symbol of the chain arranged on
small rings reflects the second principle of
Pancasila which reads “Kemanusiaan yang Adil
dan Beradab”
This symbol signifies the human
relationship that helps one another. In the
symbol of the bracelet there is a square and
circular bracelet.
A square bracelet depicts a man.
Meanwhile, a circular bracelet depicts a
woman.
The banyan tree symbol reflects the third
principle of Pancasila which reads “Persatuan
Indonesia".

The banyan tree with the Latin name Ficus

Benjamina is an Indonesian tree with a long single root
that goes deep into the ground to support a very large
banyan tree. This illustrates the unity and integrity of
Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the roots hanging from the

branches of the tree reflect Indonesia as a unitary
state but have various cultural backgrounds.
The bull's head symbol on the red
background reflects the fourth principle of
Pancasila, which reads, “Kerakyatan yang
Dipimpin Oleh Hikmat Kebijaksanaan dalam
Permusyawaratan dan Perwakilan”

The bull or wild ox is a very

sociable animal. This illustrates like humans
in the decision-making process must be
carried out deliberately, coming together to
solve a problem.
The symbol of rice and cotton reflects
the fifth principle of Pancasila which reads,
“Keadilan Sosial Bagi Seluruh Rakyat
Indonesia”.

Rice and cotton are symbols of food

and clothing which are the basic needs of the
Indonesian people regardless of their status or
position. This illustrates the equation, there is
no gap between one another.
