SCOPE AND LIMITATION

The scope of study includes the increase in efficiency. The researchers' focus was on
decreasing non-conforming product output at Covac Philippines Inc.; as a result, it was necessary
to recognize and pinpoint the areas of process and material usage where defects are produced at
the highest rates. The researchers concentrated on the production's quality area. The goal of the
research is to boost company productivity and better quality control.
Based on the monthly defect rate, the information was obtained through several
observations, a time study, and other proprietary information provided by the company. The
study's conclusions were constrained by the data acquired because the researchers only paid
attention to the company's daily operations three days a week. The respondents of the study were
the general manager and supervisor of the production in the company. The researchers were
given permission to visit and perform interviews, observations, and consultations with the
proprietors at a time and date that was decided by the company's staff. Numerous IE tools, such
as the Pareto Chart, Ishikawa Diagram, Why-why Analysis, Process Mapping, Flow Chart,
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, DMAIC Methodology, and Bar Graph, can be used to assess
and swiftly identify failures and quality issues that the company has encountered.
The researchers guarantee the privacy of the data at Covac Philippines Inc. as a condition
of our contract with the company, in particular, by agreeing not to reveal information about the
owner, clients, business's location, or company name.
