HRPTA MEETING SECOND QUARTER MEETING

S.Y. 2021-2022
Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 73 s. 2007 and DepEd Order No. 41 s. 2021 the
Grade 10 Level conducted activities that will enhance the development of oral
habits and personal hygiene among G-10 learners of Barobo National High School
prior and during the opening of classes S.Y. 2021-2022.

Observing the health protocols which strictly implemented by the IATF and
religiously followed by the BNHS Faculty and Staff, the quarterly HRPTA meeting
last February 17, 2022 conducted at the G10 Jandayan classroom with the
agendum of parents’ orientation on the WINS program of BNHS. It was done in the
morning and in the afternoon to maintain proper social distancing. The meeting
was held at the Grade 10 classrooms and it was facilitated by the advisers. The
program started at 9:00 in the morning, with Ms. Claire Jandayan as the master of
ceremony. It was then followed by the message by the school principal, Ms. Marcela
G. Marticion-Ortega, where she made mention of the importance toothbrushing
and handwashing in this time of pandemic and why the Department of Education
implemented this in our school curriculum. Mrs. Ortega also emphasized how the
support of the parents make great impact to the obedience and discipline of the
students.

It was discussed how the toothbrushing and handwashing be done in the

classroom. The morning session (SET A) will do the 15-minute personal hygienic
routine in every after-meal break (snack time) at exactly 9:30-9:45 in the morning
while the afternoon session (SET B) will do the same thing at exactly 3:00-3:15 pm
and this was facilitated by me, the class adviser and assisted by the classroom
representative guiding the other learners the process of handwashing and
toothbrushing. The hygienic routine was done two days in a week. To ensure that
every learner performed the said daily oral habits and personal hygiene routine I,
the class adviser along with the classroom representative will monitor the
handwashing and toothbrushing through checking of attendance after the learner
do his/her personal hygienic routine and a copy will be submitted to the school
nurse every end of the week for monitoring and recording purposes.

The meeting has ended with a closing prayer led by a parent. The parents
brought with them words of encouragement and thanks from the facilitators of the
program.
