y y Be sure to identify a focus during the pre-conference so that you know exactly what the teacher would like you to monitor. Ask the teacher if they are in need any resources from (you) the supervisor to enhance their instruction.

1 development idea
y Review the lesson plan before the pre-conference meeting to see if the objectives of the lesson line up.

Summative Evaluation Report

Your lesson contained elements of effective instruction and positive relations with your students. Your objective of the lesson was stated early on in the lesson and students were engaged in group work. The use of technology in presenting the material kept students engaged. As noted above, your performance was generally satisfactory, but the area of assessment is in need of improvement. You are encouraged to observe department peers and take not of their formative assessment strategies, update your knowledge of formative assessment through reading the suggested journal articles, and integrate formative assessment in each lesson. By reviewing some pedagogical knowledge and viewing some appropriate models, it is possible for you to make an improvement and boost your rating to satisfactory.
