3) sastodeal.com:
Sastodeal's journey began in December 2011, when Nepal's broadband
penetration was only approximately 9%. Nonetheless, they were urged to
build not just a business, but an eCommerce industry that would have a
long-term impact on Nepal's economy. With only Rs.50,000 in their
checking account, they hired a small garage, worked on damaged furniture
and chairs, and worked hard to develop a powerful company that contributed
greatly to the growth of the eCommerce industry.
Sastodeal is now one of Nepal's largest eCommerce enterprises, having
millions of clients and thousands of vendors/partners around the country.
Except for a few regions, they have a logistic network that enables deliveries
in most parts of the country (work in progress). Their mission is to ensure
that users and customers may purchase things at reasonable costs and have
them delivered as promised and on time, regardless of their location. On the
other side, they have given vendors a platform that allows them to serve
millions of clients at no additional expense to their company.

5) Foodmandu:
Foodmandu is a foodstuff delivery and ordering service in Nepal. They
provide food from any of the restaurants that are members. Which
restaurants do you order from? You can choose from any of their partner
restaurants to place your order. Their delivery rider arrives at your house in
minutes with your food. Manohar Adhikari created Foodmandu in 2010 and
ran it for six years on his own funds until True North invested. He told
Nikkei, "His journey was not an easy one." Foodmandu initially struggled
since internet food delivery was a novel concept, and the company had to
link restaurants, customers, and riders.
B) State the difference between Pure and Partial E-Commerce. Give two examples.
When a corporation sells a product over the internet, but the fulfillment of the
product must take place in the "real" world, this is known as partial e-
commerce. When you buy a book on Flipkart, Daraz are an example. They must
physically send it to you.
All other options feature a mix of digital and physical dimensions in Partial e-
commerce.
The Internet's emergence has created the path for a slew of innovative business
models, which many companies have successfully implemented. Understanding
the complexities of the language connected with these new prospects is a
critical first step for any small business trying to strengthen its online presence.
While the terms e-commerce and e-business are frequently used identically,
there is a significant distinction between the two.
D) Research on new technology that are being used in e-commerce website (for
e.g., drone for delivering packages). Give one example.
There are so many technologies that provide solution to e-commerce business.
Such as, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Hyper-
personalized experience, Ambient commerce, online to offline (O2O),
Chatbots, etc.…one of these, I would like to demonstrate about is Artificial
Intelligence (AI).
Help from an in-store assistant who is educated about the offer and can provide
appropriate recommendations and individualized assistance is one of the things
that has been lost in online buying and that makes brick-and-mortar shopping so
enjoyable.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning will continue to grow in popularity,
allowing merchants to develop new methods to increase personalization and
customer service. It also helps company to know their costumer. AI generate
real time insight and boost customer shopping experience, generate timely
promotion, boost demand forecasting, etc.…. Consumers like brands that are
concerned about them. AI may help with this by linking disparate data points
into a comprehensible whole, resulting in consumer profiles with useful
information that merchants can utilize to create tailored experiences.
