Social Media marketing:

Thanks to the influence of social media, the connection between a company and its customers
has undergone a significant change. As of today, there are 3.96 billion people using social
media1. This amounts to more than 50% of the global population. Business organisations have
discovered that digital marketing is a possible advertising instrument that can assist them in
successfully contacting their target audience. Companies can now develop plans by utilising
social media after analysing the analytics to comprehend the needs and preferences of the target
clients. According to tiktok, 67% of the users have stated that tiktok has inspired them to shop,
even when they weren’t looking to2. This is the impact social media has on its users.

As per the data provided by the client, the Facebook, Youtube, Instagram and Pinterest pages of
Verrosa has had 2065 visitors in total between November 2021 to May 2022. That is an average
of 295 visitors a month and almost 10 visitors a day. Most of the visitors were from all over
Ontario. Only 4 in 100 were in London.

Plan:

A first look at their socials will tell you that it is not consistently managed. At a time when all
corporations, big or small, have a social media presence, Verrosa needs to strengthen its
presence. A first step towards this would be consistent posts and using hashtags. At the present,
Verrosa has 1 part time employee who also works on social media apart from their primary
work. The employee can schedule posts in advance in order to have a more consistent posting
schedule. During this time at hiring a social media manager or outsourcing social media
marketing.

Price:

While different agencies have different pricing quotes for their marketing,it is generally between
500$-3000$ per month. That would be 6000$- 36,000$ a year. The pricing depends on the
number of social media accounts, posts, strategies, campaigns, etc. Figure 1 below shows the
cost for outsourcing social media marketing via WebFx. Figure 2 lists out different features for
different price marketing.

Can it be used to raise revenue?

Yes. Verrosa’s followers will want to visit their website if they share timely. consistently and
worthwhile material with them. This will give them the opportunity to win over their followers to
customers when visitors to your website notice consistent branding. Overall, this can provide
income.
In addition, because social media is so easily tracked, businesses can keep an eye on statistics,
trends, and behaviours, which makes it effective. Since everything ultimately boils down to
money, this aids businesses in changing what isn't working and figuring out how to preserve
initiatives that are.

Timeline:

While they look to outsource their social media marketing, the part time employee can work on
social media. Though this might not boost sales, it will show consistency on the pages and might
lead to more traction and followers interaction on the pages. Finding the perfect fit for the
company might take time but once they start outsourcing the social media, they will map out a
plan with respect to increasing the social media presence.
