If there's one thing that bind

all Filipinos in heart, it's always been and will always be food. A
Filipino's life centers on food. Without the Filipino delicacies that we genuinely love, no gathering would
be complete. Filipino cuisine is known for its dynamic and contrasting blend of sweet, salty, and vinegar
flavors. It's difficult to talk about Filipino food without discussing adobo - after all it is our de facto
honorarius national dish.

No trip to the Philippines is complete without tasting the classic adobo or one of its many
variations, whether in a Filipino home, restaurants, or on culinary excursions. Different varieties of the
Filipino adobo have arisen based on the availability of ingredients and geographic location (Tee, S.,
2021). Don't be shocked if each journey to a different part of the Philippines results in a unique adobo
variation. Adobo is a stew with such a unique flavor that is has a touch of earthy and savory flavors (C.,
2021). It's salty and peppery, with a garlic flavoring in some situations. Its distinctive heat comes from
the inclusion of paprika.

We Filipinos are some of the world's largest foodies. We enjoy eating anything, anyplace, and at
any time. A dish of adobo served with steaming hot rice is the piece of home that thousands of
homesick Filipinos working around the world yearn for. What is there to stop you? Everything about
adobo is what Filipinos are all about, from the sour and salty flavors to the fact that it's best shared with
family. If you haven't tried adobo, you haven't fully visited the Philippines.
